Yes held the ground cover inplace for my grass to grow and for my garden to grow thought weeds growing in the garden.

Worked great to hold down the weed cloth under my planter boxes. I also used them to hold the soaker hose in place.

these staples work well to hold down weed barrier landscape fabric or sod. they are a good buy and you will probably use more than you thought you would.

We ordered these metal staples and some plastic stakes. The metal staples worked well, but the plastic stakes bent over and weren't worth it.
