Bought these to thwart the animals from getting to my bird suet and the coating is chipping away

I got my first set at the Modern Marine Expo at Quantico several years ago. Since then I have used them to hold down four 25# weights that hold down my vendor tent at several different farmers markets. They work better than just about anything that I have tried before.

Great product. I use them to twist tie my gates open when using the lawnmower. I just keep them in the cupholder.

I bought 3 packs of 2x12" and 2 packs 2x6"from. Both the 12" and 6" worked great but it wasn't long before the wire broke about 1/2" from the end caps. This make these little less useful and they start becoming dangerous. The wire breaks and now it's just the rubber coating keeping it in place. The wire begins to breakthrough the rubber and it can be extremely sharp. That being said, don't use these for anything you need to have to secure tightly, anything that put much strain where you twisted. There is many uses for these but these will fail fast if they are used under much pressure. I used them to hang a roller up 25' a garden hoses and a couple drills. Which were only twisted when I tied them the first time. I made a loop that a hook could fit through. After that most of them broke at the loop a few broke st the twist and broke again after retwisting them. Just picking them up to use and putting them back on the hooks a few times a day for a week was enough for these to fail.

Outstanding product. I use Gear Ties everyday for wrapping phone and electric wire cords, hoses and anything that needs to be organized. I must have 100 in use now.

purchased this product many times. However they need to have more color choices especially blue/ navy blue in every size

Simple and extremely practical. I keep it in my work bag as a cable tie, hang work hat off bag, keep clothes on hangers or shopping bags together when going up 3 flights to apartment. It’s been very helpful

I used the ties to clean up wiring on my motorcycle that occasionally I need to access. They work great.

It's great to be able to tie my long cords up and be able to untie them quickly. And to know I don't have to use something that will be thrown away.

Great for wrap around tying. It advertised it to be used for foam mats but my mat is larger. It would be nice if it were a bit longer.

These keep my bungee cords or rope nice and tidy. I can see using this for camping in a tent and hanging a lantern.
