Love this set and it looks so nice pool side.

With my family all working and schooling from home I found I needed to escape to the back yard to take calls. Our set up was not ideal so we did a quick order having the set delivered. The table is a great size and seats comfortable. My family of three - myself, husband and teen son - could welcome a guest to the table easily. This set is sturdy with adjustable feet to prevent wobbling. It looks like a quality, expensive set. I'm very pleased.

Hallandale Black 5-Piece Aluminum Square Outdoor Dining Set - a Home Depot Seeds Program Review My old deck/patio table finally bit the dust after many years of use. The legs, made out of some sort of tube metal rusted through at the bottoms and I needed to add shims on them to keep the table upright. The chairs were the second set I’d had with the table and they were shot as well. It was time for an upgrade and this Hallandale Black 5-Piece Aluminum Square Outdoor Dining Set was just what I needed. First, the table and chairs are aluminum so rust will not be a problem. The table top is a little less than 40 inches square which is pretty close to the size of the round table it replaced. The top of this Hallandale table is a lattice and the holes allow water to fall through unlike the table it replaced that was solid on top and water would collect on the surface. I was constantly dumping the water off of it. There’s a plastic plug on the top of the table to allow the use of an umbrella and plenty of room under the table to fit a weighted umbrella base. These are not included. The four chairs with this Hallandale set are made of the same material as the table and designed with the same lattice. As a set, this table and chairs is very attractive and comfortable. The packaging was substantial and all of the pieces were well protected using lots of styrofoam and plastic. I would like to have seen packing material that would be more recyclable since there was so much of it. There’s very little documentation that came with the set but, seriously, beyond assembly instructions, what could you possibly need instructions on? The assembly says it may take 30 minutes to assemble the table and each chair. This may be true if you count getting them unpacked and wore a blindfold to assemble them. All of the parts were sealed well in a blister-type pack. They even include the wrench needed to assemble the table and chairs but you would be better off using a decent 14mm wrench since the provided ones, while usable, are pretty cheap. A ratchet wrench was usable on the table but the chair, with curved parts required an open ended wrench (spanner). The table and chairs all have adjustable feet that allow you to level them so they don’t wobble. This is far better than the shims I had to use on my old table. It was very simple but if you have a problem, there’s a card included that gives a customer support email and phone number for assistance. I found a couple of issues beyond the abundance of non-recyclable packing material. I found that while assembling the pieces, the wrench would scrape off some of the coating and exposed the aluminum beneath it. These marks don’t show but the coating came of easily enough that it made me question the durability of the coating and I suspect the table and chairs will show dings and marks if anything strikes them hard enough. The nuts and bolts used for assembly are silvery and probably zinc or some such. I don’t think rust will be an issue with them but it would have been nice if they were coated black as well. The silvery visible nuts on the backs of the chairs really stand out against the black coating. The chairs do not go fully under the table. While they certainly go under far enough to sit comfortably at the table, they do protrude about eight inches out from the table. Also, the chairs do not stack so if you’re planning on storing this set away for the winter, you’ll want to keep in mind the amount of space needed for the four unstacked chairs. Finally, the black color may be an issue if this Hallandale set is in the direct sun I suspect it will get very hot. I plan on getting some sort of cushions for the chairs to mitigate this. Despite the noted shortcomings, I think this Hallandale Aluminum Square Outdoor Dining Set is a pretty good choice. It’s attractive and the aluminum is not subject to rust. The chairs and table are comfortable and very easy to assemble. I expect to be using this set for many years.

The table and chairs came in well packed with no damage at all not even a scratch. The set does take some time to unpack and assemble but that isn't a big deal. The nuts, bolts, washers and lock washers are stainless steel and everything lines up great. The table does have a umbrella hole but I don't like the plastic plug it came with so I purchased a rubber cone plug which worked perfectly. The table and chairs all have adjustable screw type plastic pedestals so if they are uneven you just have to turn them to level out the chair or table. The nice part of the set is that it is Cast Aluminum so rust won't be a issue.

This is a great looking patio dining set. It arrived well packed with clear and easy instructions for assembly. I was able to assemble the table and 4 chairs by myself in less than an hour for all of it. All the screws/nuts fit well and it is very sturdy when assembled. The chairs have self leveling feet - I only needed to adjust on 2 of the chairs. The table has a hole for an umbrella; you would need to get an umbrella with a base to use with the table. Highly recommend.

This good looking outdoor dining set is perfect for my small patio area. The 40 inch square table is good size but does not take up a lot of space and the 4 chairs can be placed at the table or around my patio. Despite its heavy metal appearance, this cast aluminum set is not real heavy which make it east to move. The table has an umbrella hole and all the table and chair legs have levelers on the feet. It is packaged very well with each piece individually wrapped within the 3 cartons. Assembly is simple but time consuming. Detailed instructions and all hardware is included. This set meets all my expectations.

It came in 3 separate deliveries over a three day period, it was well packed, good quality, and easy to assemble with clear instructions. This set is exactly what I was looking for! Having it delivered over a few days wasn’t a bad thing as we assembled as they were received and we didn’t spend a lot of time on any particular day.

More than a year after setting the table and chairs up, they are still as good as new.

The aluminum dining set is going to get a real test as it is being used on the back deck in a fraternity house.

It's OK quality, but somewhat cheap. Everything fit together well, but I wonder how well it will hold up over time. If I would have seen it in the store, I probably wouldn't have bought it. Not bad, but probably better out there.

The table and chairs were easy to assemble and are very sturdy. They are a nice compliment to our porch!

The patio set was delivered to the Show Low store on time and was loaded into our pickup by the helpful staff. All the parts were included and the table & chairs were pretty easy to assemble. There was a small area on the seat of one chair that had been hit hard so the finish was chipped down to the raw metal. We repaired it ourselves so that the rough edges wouldn’t hurt anyone sitting in the chair and then finished it in black so it wouldn’t be so noticeable. Overall, we’re happy with the product and with Home Depot.

Very satisfied with the quality. We have not had it long and it is under a covered area, but it seems very sturdy and is also very attractive. My only wish on this set is that it would have been produced as a round table instead of square but this was a great value. Others of this same quality were much more expensive.
