This paint is amazing! It took my drab cabinets from old and dirty looking to looking like brand new cabinets! Highly recommend!

I really love the color. The blue was a perfect tone, not too dark and not too light. It was easy to prep and paint. It has been 3 weeks now and I did have to touch up some spots, but other than that so far so good.

Worth. Every. Penny
I was skeptical this would be any different than other paints. It is. The consistency is like a thin pudding so it doesn’t run all over. Followed directions by cleaning and lightly sanding first, then got to work. The paint covers beautifully; no brush marks whatsoever. The color is maybe a little lighter than it looks online but love the finished product. Would definitely use again!!

At first, I was very hesitant to do this project. I knew going in that it would be an absolute ton of work - taping off everything, removing doors / hardware, painting, then a second coat and finally putting everything all back together again. Also knowing that for however long it would take us to do the entire thing (1 week, btw), our kitchen would be virtually unusable and we would also have to look at all of our stuff that is normally neatly tucked away, laying around out in the open. I really didn't want to do it, but needless to say, I was eventually dragged into it, kicking and screaming (in my head anyway). So, after ordering the paint online - for store pickup, we got busy deep cleaning everything. Any and all traces of grease, dust, grit, whatever, had to go. Once that was done, we made a map and numbered all of the doors as we took them down, so they would hopefully go back in the same order. Which, they did :) After moving all of the doors and drawers to the garage, we sanded them all to knock the glossy finish off of them, and then repeated the cleaning process again. We then went through every part of the base units and did the same thing. light sanding, cleaning, repeat. That part probably took the longest and was definitely the most labor intensive. After all of the sanding and cleaning was complete, we then got to work taping everything off. We used the green frog tape, hoping that it wouldn't bleed under it, but in a few areas it still did. But, it was pretty minimal. We used our fancy new paint sprayer to do throw down two coats of paint on the doors, and then did two coats on the base units by hand. This paint is fantastic to work with. A little really goes a long way and it does a fantastic job of covering stuff up! We did end up buying a second thing of paint just in case one wasn't enough, but probably could have gotten it all done with just one. In all, we spent about $500 on the paint, a new sprayer and the usual tools and supplies that you need for painting. The final project was COMPLETELY worth it! We have gotten a lot of compliments on how it turned out. My favorite was from our neighbor that said, "It looks great! You can't even tell that you guys did it yourselves!" Lol

Looks great
We wanted to update our cabinets that had been painted by previous owners. I spent a lot of time on prep work because I wanted to make sure I gave it the best chance. I cleaned with tsp, sanded, and cleaned again. I used 1 coat of primer, 2 coats of hearthstone base, and 1 coat of protective glaze. I am very impressed with how it turned out. I also chose not to roll the paint and just used a high quality brush. It has been about a month with no issues. I think with proper prep and care it will be pretty durable.

Absolutely!
I bought this paint based on the good reviews. I purchased the Warm Graige. I was a little worried on first sight because it looked Baige. It dries exactly as advertised. We followed the directions as instructed. I love the end result. I actually bought two kits because I was afraid one would not be enough. I only used one on an average sized kitchen. Two coates were needed.

Great Facelift!
I recently bought a house with original contractor cabinets that I hated. Didn't have the money to fully replace them, so needed a fix to last me a few years and this was great! The Oxford Blue was a bit more gray than I anticipated vs a true navy, but I actually liked that better. I put in the work to ensure they came out well... deglossed, sanded, and primed even though it says you don't need to. Only took two coats with a primer and I'm very happy with the results.

A great facelift!
I used this to give a facelift to our pre-fab builder grade kitchen cabinets. Make sure you follow all preparation steps before painting. I removed my cabinet doors to paint because it was easier to cover them- I just laid a dropcloth on the floor and used plastic cups to set them up while I painted them. I did leave a few hanging at first but found that the paint was drying with drip marks and also it was difficult to reach all of the edges with the inside hinges. There was just enough paint in the kit to cover all of the cabinets with two coats, though I did only use one coat on the back of the cabinet doors to conserve paint. I did find on the end panels of the cabinets that the first coat of paint separated, but it covered just fine on the second coat. Highly recommend. The kitchen looks great!

The NuVo cocoa couture cabinet paint turned out really well, had a few issues where it's scratched easily and streaked. Therefore I suggest getting the clear top coat to seal and use the foam roller for the larger sections. Overall I'm happy with it.

I cannot say enough good about this product. It covered great. The consistency was perfect to work with. My cabinets were a light pine color, some panels were laminate and the doors were wood. Some of the finishes were wore and others were slick. Not in good shape. The end result was beautiful. Only prep work I did was wipe the doors down and light sanding on a couple of spots. LOVE LOVE LOVE the transformation!

This stuff sucks!
Even using a mixer this paint still has swirls in it. against my better judgement I painted with it anyway. Now there's color differences on the surfaces. Can totally see where I used the brush and roller. Now I have an upset wife because our new house's kitchen looks like it was painted 20 years ago by a 2 year old.
