To: Customer Care Complaints Department Dear Sir/Madam, It is with great regret that I have to inform you of a very bad service I experienced with your store in Alhambra. I hope that once you have researched this issue, we can come to a mutual agreement about what needs to take place in order to resolve this issue. On June 14, 2021, I came to your Alhambra Store and want to return the broken acrylic sheets. Unfortunately, my request was not processed correctly as a result of cutting and gluing the acrylic sheet to build the fish tank. I felt indignity to beg for money back that I left my broken fish tank in your store. Frankly, this is unacceptable and I am disappointed that I now have to take additional time trying to resolve the problem. I am asking for your personal assistant for a quick resolution. After I started to buy the Optix Acrylic Sheet, order ID H6610-328364, to build a fish tank on your website on April 2, 2021, my nightmare has been continuing to now. On my first order, I paid $281.5. When I finished installing the fish tank, I tore off the adhesive tape on the acrylic sheet. I found a lot of cracks in the front piece. I did not choose to return the product, but I chose to buy a new one, order ID 6610 00061 43762 $73.98, on April 16, 2021, to replace it. After I finished, I found that the other piece had deep cracks which I could not repair at all. I thought it may be my fault. I decided to give up that fish tank and rebuild the new one. On Apr 22, 2021, I bought 4 more pieces of acrylic sheet, Order ID 6610-00012-06302 $207.52, and started to rebuild my fish tank again. I also bought a Sander kit, #6610-00051-04480 $79.28, on April 28 and Polisher, W864625161 $145, on May 5, 2021, for backup. But, the cracks automatically happened again in the rebuilt fish tank. On May 9, 2021, I bought another sheet, #6610-00053-09027 $73.98, to replace the crack sheet. I thought this time it would be OK, but two days later, a big crack automatically appeared on the next sheet again. On May 15, 2021, I bought another one, #6610-00060-01853 $73.98, to fix it. But when I fix that sheet, the other one will crack automatically 2 or 3 days later. I thought the fish tank may be too big to make it crack. So, I cut the size from 48 in to 40 in. And, brought the crack to the Alhambra store to return, #6610-00019-03025, and bought the new one, #6610-00053-02001, on May 18, 2021. On May 19, 2021, I found the new sheet crack inside. So, I returned it #6610-00019-03218, and brought the new one, #6610-00061-09456 to replace the crack tank again. But, on Jun 7, 2021, The automatic crack happened repeatedly on the left side of the fish tank. It really made me crazy. I decided this was the last time I repaired the fish tank. So, I cut off the left crack sheet and brought it back to return #6610-00020-08882, and bought the new one, #6610-00051-06681, again. I tried my best but I chose to surrender. On Jun 14, The big cracks happened repeatedly on the backside of the tank. I can’t stand it. So, I brought the whole tank to the Alhambra store to request a refund of the first order total of $281.5 + tax. I think it’s fair because I pay a total of $935.24 + tax. I lost a lot of money and time because the product's quality is so bad. And, I am felt indignity by your unreasonable and unfriendly Senior Staff. I really can’t stand it. I am a loyal customer who has purchased many products from your stores and online stores. In an effort to assist you, I have enclosed copies of the receipt. I would appreciate your refund or give me back the normal fish tank. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. However, please be advised that if I do not receive a satisfactory response to this request prior to 7.14, 2021, I will have no choice but to seek assistance from a Legal Advisor. I do hope that won't be necessary. Sincerely

Hard enough to place things on, soft enough to be workable.

I cut this acrylic in half keeping the 32 inch length. Then I affixed it to the bottom both sides of our sliding screen door with screen clips to protect the screen from our dog scratching and busting through, an idea I hope someone can use.

Perfect for my needs, light weight and easy to use as an artist table pallet.

By far the easiest to work with. Making some great things with this plexiglass. Using LED lighting below and behind and this stuff GLOWS. EASY TO DRILL. EASY TO CUT. That’s what counts. This is my go to plexiglass now!

I used this product as a water-proof backing for mounting a distribution manifold during my driveway re-building this past summer. I added hot water loops under the pavement, and wanted something behind the manifold mount to prevent water damage during air-bleeding procedures or in the event of a possible leak. This panel was perfect, and looks great too. Just make sure you pre-drill any holes before screwing or bolting it down.

About a month ago I used this in a custom frame of 74" X 24" for antique Japanese scroll. It was easy to cut with a Dremel tool (wear protective eye wear! Jig saw didn't work for me), clear as glass, not a blemish on it, (leave the protective film on until you're ready to put it in place), and light weight. Saved money not taking it to be professionally framed so we splurged on a custom frame at a local frame shop. Very happy with the finished product!

I used this plex for a large picture frame build, and was ver concerned about scratches. The sheet came with a protective film on either side, which did the job nicely. Suggestion: pull off the protective film as a very last step, and pull it off slowly to prevent static buildup and dust clinging to your project.

It was easy to work with and really sturdy

I bought this to use for a craft and it was excellent.. I made a Spotify frame

We cut the acrylic into long strips to put in our RV bathroom cabinets. It keeps things from falling out, and bc it's clear, we can see what we need.

It is a good sturdy product. Great for the quilting project I was using it for.

I'm unsure if I would recommend this. Because the edges of the items are scraped where they were cut, they look like corrugated cardboard. All four sides have this look. I ordered a few weeks ago and the pieces are super. Smooth edges, well done. But these. Ugh. I will have to get 300+ grit sand paper and rub them smooth, but then they will be frosted, when the other set will be clear like the entire sheet. Bummed. They were both supposed to be from the same company, Optic, but have different labels. The second set (scraped set) is even a little thicker. The 2nd set did not meet my expectations.

I purchased two sheets. One to protect the white grout in the backsplash behind the kitchen sink. It's hardly noticeable leaning against the wall. The second was to cut and use in the bottom of a clear glass bathroom accessory tray that had an uneven surface on the inside. The tray was defective but I wanted it and needed something to smooth out the bottom. The acrylic sheet is very clear so you don't notice it all.

Product as expected. Made a cat entry window access. Easy to cut with proper tool and technique. Now the cat has access to the outside, and main window can still be closed.

Is great for cover for uber Driver’s

I used this product to replace a broken window. It was easy to work with and was able to cut it to the perfect fit. Clear view to the outside. I cut it with a utility blade also known as a box cutter to reduce the odor that it releases if you cut it with a circular saw. I set in clear silicon sealant to finish it off. Looks great in place. Perfect replacement for a broken window.

This product was perfect for making a table top COVID-19 shield used during recruiting interviews.

Functional easy to handle and manipulate material for lots of protection/art projects.

I was looking for this type of item with these or close to dimensions after my polypropylene one disintegrated. My use is a little unorthodox but I needed this to block water from being splashed up against a bedroom door that allows access to the patio. When it rains the water pours off of the roof to in front of the door. Product is expensive but I think it's money well spent and should last many, many years.

My description of this product is based on the fact that it is what I received when I purchased it off the shelf at my local Home Depot in Orlando. It was not in a package. It only had a thin protective film on the Acrylic Sheet. I used the OPTIX 20 in. x 32 in. x 0.093 in. Acrylic Sheet to protect a small wooden table that had been hand painted with a picture on top. I cut the sheet with a fine tooth blade on my table saw. The cut went smoothly with no problem. My table saw surface was clean with no rough edges. The main problem I encountered was with the protective film. The film was very thin and had allowed some minor scratches that were present when I purchased the product. It was also very tedious and time consuming to peal off the film when the cutting was complete.

This is one of the first acrylic sheets that I have found that the plastic cover stayed on while I cut to size so not to scratch the acrylic.

Did not meet my expectation

Nice quality material, surface protected by easily removed sheets of paper. Flexible enough to wrap-around a counter, following the curvature.

I used these to make shielding for a check out counter.

This is not a 2x4! - the dimensions stated should be what you get, right? Evidently NOT; the label, bin description and online says 20 x 32 but what I got (with blue liners) is 20 x 31.5

Used this product at my store's counter as a protective COVID19 barrier between employees and customers. Worked perfect!

Perfect for creating a 60 inch tall by 44 inch wide cross shaped window. It cut easily with a jigsaw and metal cutting blade. No chipping or cracking. Very happy with the end result.

It's thick and it's strong which was perfect. Only issue was the one I was given (used curbside pickup) had it's film coming off on one side witch made it hard to use because I cut all 4 sides off and made several holes throughout the plate.
