Sticks and seals like a mofo

Have to squeeze so hard to get it to flow that I bent my caulking gun. You have to force down on to surface for it to stick, skins up fast so you have to stop and tool quickly or you get a rough surface. But, it seems to be durable. I bought something else the next time I needed this type of product.

The Quad Max product has great adhesion, flows nicely, and remains flexible especially compared to the regular Quad product. It looks great and so far the color has remained true even in direct sunlight. The color match was a challenge., I ended up off about a shade.. barely noticeable. It was more about sheen. The color I bought was brighter than I was expecting. Of course it's more difficult to apply than a water based product but that's to be expected... just keep some mineral spirits near by. Because it flows better, the Quad Max does self level somewhat.

I used the product to seal a gap between a concrete porch and framed addition. It has been on for less than a week so I can say how it will preform long term.

Best caulk on the market! I thought I was a crappy caulker, using this stuff I look like a pro! It's thicker than the cheap stuff.

I put this around newly installed windows to seal the window to the house flashing. The advantage of Quad is that over time, it will look very very close to the way it looked when first applied as it is weather resistant. Standard elastomeric caulk in this scenario it will show dirt in 6 months.

I used to say this is the best caulking you can buy. But lately I have had a lot of tubes explode on me, with caulk flowing out the top of the tube and all over the clean job, I just had. I have returned some of these for even exchange but no improvement in the tubes has taken place. So..... Great Caulk ..... Lousy Tubes

It was hard

Urethane caulk is the way to go for anything outdoors. QuadMaxx is even better. U will need to use thinner to tool and clean ur hands. Latex caulk outdoors will just harden and crack with temperature changes. Urethane caulk needs to “cure” for 24 hours before painting.
