Great to work under any condition, had to fix part of the sprinkler system and it glued everything. For better result will recommended to wait 30 minutes before pressure testing

I have been doing my own irrigation work for many years. I have glued hundreds of PVC fittings using Oatey products. Many times especially during repair, I did not use the Oatley primer product because I was out. Never had a repair fail, the product is that good. Same goes with their PVC Blue Lava Hot Cement. It sets up fast and holds well. Built in brush makes for easy installation.
Works with wet and dirty pvc fittings. Just wipe with a clean rag if likes are dirty. Can pressurize after 15 minutes insteat of hours like the standard cement. Water in joint will not ruin cement.

Like many others who have posted comments, I used this cement recently to assemble a PVC source water line. Like some other cements, it first requires you to prepare the parts with a cleaning solvent for PVC pressurized applications, but unlike other cements it set up very quickly and is absolutely impossible to pull apart by hand just a few seconds after the parts are mated. Technically, the product instructions suggest a full cure after not more than 30 minutes (in some cases just 15 minutes), which is still much less time spent waiting, than the 2-hour cure time required by most other PVC cements. Although it would be great if this was a one-step product (i.e., skipping the drippy cleaning solvent), the rapid cure time is a real time-saver. I would recommend this cement to a friend.

I have been using Oatey pvc cement for many years now. Just this past June I put in a drip and sprinkler system in my back yard. Using 3/4 in. pvc, I must have glued over 40 pieces together in many different configurations. Not one failure under pressure. In the spring I am going to do the front yard and this pvc cement is my cement of choice. Nice consistency, easy to work with. Dries very fast. The applicator brush is built into lid of the can. Great stuff.
