Very handy if you want to raise the sprinkler outlet FPT by few inches to connect the sprinkler head. Also useful for FPT elbow and convert to MPT to connect sprinkler head.

It's a little piece of plastic pipe. Not much to go wrong. No features to discuss. Just buy whatever is cheapest, especially if you're buying a load of them.

I came to the store with a sprinkler head that had half of this riser in it. They showed me the tool I needed to get it out and gave me the riser to repair the head and told me to take the other half out of the pipe in the ground and screw the head back in. Everyone there is so helpful! I fixed it myself and I am an old lady!
