It was a perfect match to the existing flooring

I bought this edging to put between floors that differ by ½ inch. The track is ½ wide. The edging pieces are on 3/8 inch centers. Widening 13 feet of track was time consuming, but then it went together nicely except that one strip has a white line showing for the entire length. The label left a sticky mess. Luckily the glue is water soluble. I would not recommend this product.

I used this product previously for a fireplace hearth-track was "glitchy". They changed the design and included a shim for differences in every project. The current design works well. I am using it for hallway to carpet. You MUST take your time, measure more than twice, dry fit you pieces to ensure they work, then tap them in with your mallet to ensure they are properly seated. A bit of care and patience and you will have a good result.

This transition went down well.....however, it was recommended to match the flooring we purchased and it does not really match, it's much lighter but we decided to live with it.

Looked very good in four doorways to transition from hallway title to laminate flooring.

I purchased this kit to coordinate with the Pergo Outlast Applewood flooring. The color matched perfectly. I used the t-molding and the transition piece that is used for transitioning to a lower floor (I have glue down hardwood). Instead of using the metal track, I used Gorilla glue to secure the t-molding to the transition piece, and once dried, I secured it to the floor. This glue works well, but, expands, so don't over-glue!

Workers great and fitted right in.

The product is good, but it was returned due to not being to provide the transition I needed.

This did not work at the top of our stairs.

The stair nose fit very well over my steps and the height adjustment components helped greatly with getting a smooth finish.

The nose molding does not sit right on the stairs. I would like my money back.

Works very well with floors of similar (aka close) height and with those of varying height within the range of the product. It's a bit of a challenge on the first install to get multiple parts to feed into the metal track. Takes a little practice. A "binder" clip of some sort would be helpful. There are no instructions on how to use the shim. Just a reference to added height. Lastly, concrete screws would be a nice addition. The plastic anchors don't work very well.

Easy to use. Just need to remember to add the black plastic to bottom of the metal as shown in picture.

Don’t bother with these transitions. They are too weak to walk on, finicky to install, and leave an obvious rough edge if you add the carpet or tile strip. I spent too much in these to throw them out and redo it right. Get a real wood transition instead.
