This is a great awning! Plan to use plenty of ingenuity to install it though, at least if you order the double version like the 2360; the instructions aren't very much help for figuring out the double version.

cracked panel edges
I noticed that the edges of the panels have started to crack. This wasn't due to any impact, probably just poor material quality

tedious installation
I found the installation to be tedious and much more difficult than advertised. The panels were difficult to fit into the frame, and the whole process was very time-consuming. I’m disappointed with the overall experience.

Well designed, will work well for our need over an apartment outer door. We're hopeful this will stand up to our typically moderate winter weather. The end pieces closing the channel from moisture were a struggle to install & a bit dicey due to sharp edges. The rest went up easier than expected. We purchased & inserted window seal insulation to avoid water intrusion between the awning and the house. Palram should provide something for that issue.

scratches affect visibility
The panels arrived with several scratches that affect the overall clarity and aesthetics of the awning. For the price, I expected pristine panels, not ones that look used.

I’m not super happy with it. It looks nice but...
I’m not super happy with it. It looks nice but is so light and flimsy. My handyman said the instructions were terrible. It’s a lot of money for everything to be lightweight plastic.

We wanted an awning over the side door to our garage. This was the perfect size. Installation was straightforward, and it does a good job of keeping rain off my door. But the awning is not flush against the wall, and the upper half of the brackets pulls away from the wall leaving a gap that rain can get into. Also, the whole thing is plastic. It doesn't look bad though.

Did the installation myself went up quick. Very nice looking but is completely constructed of plastic like materials. I’m in the south and is doing fine in the rain. Not sure how it would do in heavy wet snow. Had to put a clear bead of silicone at the point it meets the house to keep all the drips out. Was no big deal. So far very happy with it.

I would recommend this product. It is well-priced and I do like that the awning piece is solid, not 2 pieces like some competitors. That was a major selling point for me. However, the placement of the awning above the brackets could be a little bit better. When installed there is a gap between the wall and the awning, really too big for caulking. If they had offset the brackets by just a little bit so the part of the awning against the wall was just a little bit longer, the gap would be less. Other than that, great product.
