I really like this new system. No more multi filters taking up space. This Pelican system is compact and simple. Installation was easy. As long as you have an existing hole in your sink or counter top your good. If you have to drill one as I did. Take note if you’re drilling through tile or stone make sure you get the proper hole saw. DON"T damage your counter top. A little precaution will save in the long run. Once installed I let the system fill and sit for a minimum of 8 hours drain completely and repeat 2 more times. My wife says it just as good as bottled water if not better. So now we gained space in our refrigerator eliminating the need for our picture filtered water or use the water from the refrigerator. When I fill the picture for sun tea I sit it in the sink and fill"er up. No more sitting on my knee holding against the door waiting for it to fill. We bought a case of bottled water just before installing this. We would go through that about every 10 days. It’s still sitting in the pantry only 4 bottles have been used. So already we are saving money and waist. Clean great tasting water on demand. Go drink

Replaced our old RO with this Pelican system we selected as it wastes much less water than other systems. Also adding back the minerals is a good idea as the water for our coffee tastes much better.

I had a 2 stage filter system before this one and that one worked pretty well. However, it did not provide reverse osmosis which I didn't want to pay for at the time. This system is much better since it has 6 stages of cleaning the water. It's compact enough to be under the kitchen sink which is helpful if you don't want to pay for those thousand dollar system that has to be professionally installed in the garage.

I have bought and installed many RO filters but this is the best ever! Have a friend who has survived breast cancer and is very aware of health issues who bought a $4,000 whole house filtering system as it leaves the beneficial minerals in the water. This put them back in, calcium and magnesium! And still removes all the toxic chemicals from the drinking water.

But the filtered water for drinking that comes out this filtration system is so much cleaner, clearer and fresher that when compared I can't tell the difference from purified bottled water.

I received this product to test and I have been very pleased with it. The PRO-RO features a four-stage prefilter, membrane and post filter housed in a single cartridge. The final two stages consist of a granular activated carbon polishing filter and a calcite remineralizing filter. When properly maintained, this system will provide you with years of trouble-free service. The cartridges in this system must be replaced on a regular basis to maintain efficiency and to ensure high water quality. These cartridges work together and must be replaced every 6-12 months. Any significant change in performance of the system should be investigated promptly to avoid secondary damage or deterioration to other parts of the system. The installation was fairly simple and took the better part of a Saturday afternoon. The operation and installation instructions are detailed very well in the manual (also available on-line).
