Just had the water softening system today and so far so good!

All systems are in place. We have yet to experience the wow factor but know it's got to be better for us and our appliances. Still waiting on the pipes to be wrapped.

Great until, already notice the difference in water quality! Unit designed with 1” male or female pipe threaded connections on the main tank and pre-filter. Would like to have seen the same exact connections on both parts, which would have simplified a self-install, or including the adapters to reduce system to 3/4 pipe thread. But overall a great system for the price and have been enjoying the benefits of a soft water system.

The install was not too bad (installed it myself!). Now I’m waiting to see if I notice any difference over the next couple of weeks. I’m hoping to have less calcium buildup around faucets, clearer glass shower doors and dishes. I ordered the install kit. It did make the install easier. I added a bypass valve just in case something goes wrong or major maintenance is required. Overall, I’m happy with the system and would recommend it to family and friends, and a neighbor too!

I live in a condo and this unit is so small and compact it fits perfectly next to my water heater. This is one of the best investments I've made to upgrade you unit.

It is easy to install and doesn't take more space like the salt softener I used to have before. The water looks more cleaner and tests better than it was looking and testing when we were using the other softener with salt.

Water softener has been installed in the house now for a few months, and the entire family has begun to notice! Installation was pretty easy, and I would recommend this to anyone that has hard water!

Purchased and installed this unit in August 2021. One year later there is no improvement in hard water spotting or calcium build up in/on futures or toilets. Spotting is very hard to remove. My water hardness is 276 - Calcium 61 & magnesium 30. Decided to buy and Eddy Electronic Water Descaler for $199 and add it it after this unit. Several neighbors have installed the Eddy and are very satisficed with the lability to easily remove water spots and have little or no build up in the toilet or the end of faucets. Hope it works, the Pentair doesn't. Would not buy this unit again. A waste of money!

This has been working great!, no salt needed.

First unit leaked when I received it. Dealt directly w/Pentair. They immediately sent new tank and made it easy to return original. System works beautifully. Water tastes wonderful

It’s not installed yet but this is the 4th home I’ve put this system into if that tells you how much I like it.

It doesn’t soften as much as salt systems. My hair is still hard.

The system performs well. However very annoyed with the leaks. Filter housing (1 inch pipe thread) seems to not be formed well, takes a lot to seal from leaks (many tries). Also, the large o-ring seal uses water pressure to aid in sealing, but it still drips. This is the 2nd system I've purchased. 1st one for my house and now this one for my mother's house. Same leak issues.

Unfortunately I can’t rate it because the first time I received my order it was missing a part, I received the replacement and it’s missing even more parts.

I purchased the Pelican NaturSoft Water Soften and was surprised at the fast delivery and how easy the installation was. It's for a new build which isn't finished yet so I can't rate the taste of the water, but so far I am very happy with the purchase.

Easy to install. Looking forward to testing our water again in a month to see the actual effects.

Great system that requires little to no maintenance.

The overall system works as advertised. My issues were with the installation instructions. They are poorly written. Pipe size connection is nowhere stated, 3/4" or 1" ? The YouTube video shows how to build a bypass system, but again no mention of pipe size. Worst of all no mention that you can't use schedule 40 pvc, the most commonly used pipe, without the adapters.

wanted a salt free softner.getting too old to lug salt.it is a great unit.my plumber put it in in less then an hour. never leaked.

Budget friendly and backed by a reputable company.

After some modest research, I landed on the NaturSoft system for my home. I had very hard water that left a white film on everything. The water also dried my skin and hair. I read some mixed reviews of this system but also read the whitepaper on how it works and decided to try this over a salt-based system (I had a salt system in a previous house). I had the NaturSoft system professionally installed and followed the instructions about flushing the system etc. I also had the pre-filter installed. I noticed a difference immediately. White film on countertops is gone, dishes come out of the dishwasher spotless (even with a rinse solution like JetDry, my dishes would come out of the washer crusty before the install) and see a difference in my skin and hair after a shower. Some reviewers complain of white spots on things (and even the documentation says there may be some minor white reisdue even after install) but I’m not experiencing this. I’ve had this in about 3 weeks and so far very impressed. I expected good results but this unit is working better than I expected.

This was purchased and installed a few days ago. So far, so great. The hardness of the Florida water has already had a very noticeable decrease. I'm very happy with the system.

I was skeptical at first but I will be the first one to tell you, IT WORKS!!! And it works well. I purchased the install kit and it was a breeze to get up and running. Forget about buying and carrying heavy bags of salt. No rust to scrub off toilet bowls, no water spots on the shower door, and we actually drink from the tap. I know that sounds crazy but it’s true. Money well spent.
