The material is too fragile. It breaks apart with any pressure

The mat was easy to place on the ground. Simply water it. Took about 10 days for grass to start growing.

Easy to roll out, product protected the soil from eroding very well.

Package damaged on arrival and it blew all ver neighborhood. Demand refund

Do not try this if the area you are using it in experiences any traffic whatsoever. Falls apart in your hands and creates a large amount of hand-staining, cough-inducing dust. Ended up being ripped immediately. Tried it on an area that is prone to runoff, it was destroyed immediately with minor traffic over it. Also important to know this is not safe for use around animals. Ended up with an emergency vet trip after our dog took a bite out of it. Way too expensive for what you get. Just buy sod.

Total waste of time and money. This product is cheaply made, tears easily and does not stay in place. Stay away! Straw my be a little messy but it works and its cheaper.

Seemed like a good idea at first. Expensive, susceptible to shredding during installation, and tends to blow away without mechanical fasteners. (Seems to stay in place once wet.) I’ll just use straw next time around.

Purchased several of these instead of straw to hold grass seed on a slight hill. Needed to put weight to hold them down otherwise the wind blows them away. It maybe premature, but no grass yet so I can’t recommend this product. If my experience changes I will update the review.

Worked great. New grass grew much quicker and thicker in spots where I used the fiber mat. Keep in mind that it's not good for small spots as it's hard to secure small pieces. It is in the process of dissolving, and looks like all will be fine.

First off roll wasn’t big enough and the first gust of wind and it rolled right up. Lasted two days

It feel apart and the wind keeps curling it up had to keep it wet at all times! Cost to much and hard to deal with:(

Very good weight netting. Once you get it started correctly, it rolls out smooth.

My wife purchased this with bags of sand and mulch. The product itself is OK but does tear easy. The problem is home depot workers stood around and would not help my wife load the sand and mulch into her cart and into her car after. This is ridiculous for a woman to have to loan bags of sand for herself while workers avoid her. Shame on you guys

3 weeks ago today I put down lawn starter soil, Pennington seeds and mat. Watered twice a day. New growth is yellow. I pulled the mat up and it was moldy and killing the grass. Waste of $$$$$. Use straw and buy extra seed instead.

It was supposed to be strong enough for a dog to walk on and not get caught In their paws. Mine only lasted one day. I’ll go back to the straw mat

Seems to work well once on the lawn but the initial unrolling is like getting a new roll of toilet paper apart which wastes some of the roll

Easy to cut and install. Not sure how well it works yet for growing my grass from seeds.

Too Expensive for what it is.
