It disintegrated in a heavy rain…

I saw all the bad reviews. They mostly talked about it rolling away. I did NOT have that problem. My grass was growing beautifully with this product. It was even growing in areas it shouldn't according to my lawn guys that were surprised to see the beautiful result. Well...after about 3 weeks, my new grass started to die. The mat wasn't dissolving fast enough. I called customer service and they told me to cut holes in the mat with scissors. I did that, but it was too late. I was so disappointed.

This product works very well. We had heavy rain storms and the product stayed intact with the staples we used.

Had to use two layers. The birds ate through the first layer.

Great to start grass anytime of year in Ohio and not messy like straw.

Works great. Had watered twice and grass was growing. Stays in place well after watering. ?

It falls apart with dog traffic

Easy to rip apart and place down. Hasn’t blown away. It’s only been a few days but so far so good. Should see grass peaking through soon.

Far too expensive for the little amount you get in a roll. It works but there a much more economical alternatives.

Excellent I buy this again

Product didn't stay in place even when watered. Pinned down and the fabric just ripped with a little wind.

This is just junk. Soaked the mat as instructed, but it never stayed down. I will say it did keep moisture in for a bit longer. Wouldn’t waste my time with it again.

Bought this thinking it would be cleaner and easier to lay down then lose hay. Well I was wrong, wind kept moving it so I had to stake it down and product was thin wanted to tear. I was short by a lot and went to Home Depot and just bought hay bails for $12 and covered more area. Okay tried it done like gone back to what I was using

Tried this out and bought 5 rolls. I watered meticulously. All it did was sunk down to the ground, drowning out any current grass and leaving no chance for new grass to come through. I tried in vain to get my money back. First email they questioned me and asked what I did wrong. 2nd email they wanted pictures.. I provided them with 5 rectangles spots of dead area on my lawn. They never responded. I tried emailing them a follow-up.. and again nothing. Waste of money entirely.
