I don’t even know where to begin… this flooring has far exceeded my expectations. It is super easy to install (first timer here), has so many different plank patterns that you don’t see a repeated plank for rows, the texture looks like real wood, hardly any damaged pieces, and it’s so soft to walk on. Even though it comes with underlayment attached, we added the Pergo underlayment that has the vapor barrier. The quality of this flooring blows my mind.

Very quiet floor, the padding helps. It looks just like the website showed. Only issue is it chips easily ! And the tongue and groove is very soft and damages easily when installing

Our dining room really needed rejuvenation, so I ripped up the old square tiles and replaced them with this flooring. This stuff looks exactly like wood but is waterproof (when installed correctly) and resists mold and mildew. It lays flat with a little coaxing from a rubber hammer. Really brightened up to room, even though our tiles were much the same color. The seams fit together perfectly almost every time. I think the only problems with the overlapping seams occurred when I did it wrong. Fortunately I got enough extra to allow for some newbie mistakes. Always buy a box more than you think you will need.

I just recently received this product and haven't had time to do the installation that I intend but I had to open it up to see if it was really what I had hoped for. I have done a considerable amount of flooring installations not only laminate type but also hardwood strip, hardwood plank as well as parquet. This Pergo flooring looks to be top notch. It has a built in cushion backing and is finished to be waterproof as well. I took out a few boards to cut the color (which is quite pleasant) and to do a quick trial fit. The planks go together nicely and with actual installation tools will may a beautiful seamless floor. My plan is to refresh an old tile floor with an overlay of this product. It will really freshen up the space and make cleaning a breeze. Hopr I get the time to start on this really soon!

What a great product to work with.... I am very impressed with this product. Does not splinter when it is cut , looks great when your done ! Very easy to install and easy to clean too. Also it looks like a light color wood . I wish I found this product when I was remolding my home several years ago. Having 4 dogs of all different ages each one has their own accidents of spilling things , this is a easy clean up type product. Seems very durable ..

Our new Pergo Defense Plus laminate wood flooring is beautiful, durable and easy to install. It comes with SpillProtect which means it's waterproof and antimicrobial. We have the light oak and it works perfectly to lighten up our family room in the basement. I love that it comes with a 2mm attaches underlayment, which makes the install easier and quicker. Each box comes with complete install instructions. I've put in a number of laminate wood floorsin our home and tis is my favorite.

My house for 80% is covered with Pergo laminate varieties. This specific laminate is OK in terms of appearance. Surface is textured and reminds real wood. However, the color I found a little bit on a dark brown side (not as it appeared on WWW pictures). Some planks are having white spots here and there (see my photos) which are removable with extra effort. Manufacture should pay attenuation to that issue. Assembly tested – easy with Click-Lock installation. Underlayment is attached; however, if you will be doing over cement installation (like me) then I recommend getting moisture barrier. The most of the beauty of this laminate comes from Pergo Defense+ technology which beyond waterproof claims has statement that laminate has antimicrobial properties. You can even steam mop the specific laminate. Definitely installing and let’s see how it will perform over years.

PERGO is a high reputation product and this flooring has a high quality look and feel. Grain variation is good between boxes for a real wood appearance. The assembly of the planks is precise and the seams are hardly visible once the pieces snap together tightly. I noticed some dents and erratic edge finish on several planks which appears to be a manufacturing defect. They are not noticeable when new but could become more so as the product ages and wears.

The quality of this laminate is above two other floors I've installed. It is quite thick, so you need to take that into account. The locking mechanism doesn't easily "click" like others, but requires a firm tap with a tapping block and hammer, but when it engages, there are no gaps. The included underlayment has a little friction with the floor, so as you build it, the existing connected floor doesn't tend to move. I found if one person stands on the "end", the piece tapped in place does not move the installed pieces. The floor feels like hardwood and looks great. The floor is shipped in good cartons and there was zero damage to any surface. Others laminate flooring boxes seem to end up with some damage.

I’m giving this Pergo flooring a three star average rating because it just didn’t impress me in any way. I can’t speak to its water resistance because I haven’t spilled anything on it and probably won’t, but what I noticed is 1) from a visual standpoint there are too many repeating pieces which makes it look, well, engineered, 2) there’s hardly any texture to the surface, 3) it seems stiff and brittle so you have to use great care installing it so that you don’t accidentally break a board when using a mallet or board to get the pieces to click into place, and this brittleness causes me to wonder about how well it will hold up to impacts. I do like the beveled ends though, they do add a nice depth to the flooring. And although it is fairly difficult to get the pieces to connect, once they do they are well locked. It’s also a plus that it has attached underlayment though we did use the Perho Floormate recommended underlayment because we’ve found the floating floors feel much better with the extra underlayment. At the end of the day, it seems like a decent quality product and I’m sure it will last for many years.

Being antimicrobial and waterproof makes this an excellent floor for a kitchen or bath. While it looks nice, we initially weren't elated with the large variety of patterns on different planks. Many of the planks actually looked like they were damaged while cutting. Once we finished with the installation, however, the floor looked very nice. Installing it is easy too. It snaps tightly in place when using the proper tools. It has preinstalled underlayment so that you only need a vapor barrier when appropriate. We ended up with a floor that looked nice is is very comfortable to walk on.

This floor is beautiful. We put it through our whole house. I was worried it might be too light, but it isn’t. It’s perfect. It has a great finish that do far seems very durable. Easy to clean. We have a cement floor house so we added the Pergol Floormate underpad. It’s so comfortable. Doesn’t feel like a cement floor base.

I have over 35 yrs of construction experience. I installed 1,500 ft of this by request of the client. It was the worst product I ever used. The top finish is very thin & chips easy. The locking system is very poor. The edges are so flimsy you can shave it off with your fingernail! I would h recommend you use another product. Please save yourself the headache that my company had.

We are renovating our home one room at a time, and we have used this Pergo Defense flooring in three rooms so far The floor was easy to install and looks great. The only problem we have experienced is that each time we have ordered the flooring, at least one box was damaged and had to be returned. Luckily, we had ordered extra and was able to finish each room with a few flooring pieces left over.

Love the look ..color and Matte finish are perfect. Easy to install finishing my room in about 3 hours start to finish. highly recommend.
