At this point I love this feeder, the birds don't seem to dump food all over and definitely food last longer in this, Food has stayed in there for 4 days without refilling as prior one was empty in a day

Just what I needed to discourage the squirts from emptying my bird feeder every day. I still have feeders that the squirrels can eat from, but now I also have a feeder that the little birds can always find food in.

Arrived damaged. The bottom part, which actually holds the seeds in was broken. It was put loose into a box and shipped without any packing so it was being thrown against the inside of the box during shipment, so I'm not surprised. I will have to send kudos to the customer service rep who had it picked up the following day and I received my refund in a timely manner.

Not for smart squirrels
They figured it out. If they put their hind legs on the bottom ledge they can then get into the feeder holes with their front paw.

I'm just not sure about the spring action to inhibit large birds and squirrels. I have yet to see any birds on this feeder and I've had it for a month now. Hmmm

It is not squirrel proof. Definitely needs
a baffle. It only took two weeks for the squirrels to chew off decorative leaves,
chew plastic and bend metal.

We are sorry to hear about this! Try and hang your feeder at least twelve feet from any tree trunk or limb and at least four feet up from the ground. This will prevent squirrels from either jumping from the tree or up from the ground onto the feeder. To help stop squirrels from stealing your seed, be sure to hang your feeder at least 18 inches away from any reach points. If you continue to be unhappy with your purchase, please feel free to contact the original retailer for assistance with a refund.
