We're sorry you are having trouble with your Ladera bathroom faucet. The aerator can be removed using a coin; no special tool is required. The coin is inserted in the aerator slot to use as leverage and turn counterclockwise. If the faucet is experiencing low water flow, it could be the inlet adapters. Sometimes, these can get loose debris lodged in them, reducing the water flow. We want to go through some troubleshooting steps to determine if this is the cause of your reduced water flow or if it could be the cartridges. We have included a few steps below to check the inlet adapters.

Please turn off the water supply to the faucet before proceeding with these steps.

Step 1: Once the faucet's water supply is turned off, remove both cold/hot water supply line hoses from the faucet's inlet lines.
Step 2: Remove and check the inlet adapter parts #970-074 for any debris or particles that may have gotten stuck inside.
Step 3: With a soft bristle brush, gently brush away any debris or run it under a stream of water and reconnect the adapters to the inlet lines, then connect your water supply lines and test.

Hi Paula,

The Ladera #LF-049-LRGS is a bathroom sink faucet with a maximum flow rate of 1.2 GPM. This model is not meant to be installed as a tub faucet. A Jacuzzi or Roman tub-type faucet will flow between 6-15 gallons per minute depending on the incoming PSI and model/style to fill the tub. There are several Roman tub faucets to choose from, and we are providing a link below to these models on Home Depot’s website. The Roman tub models also require a rough-in valve that is purchased separately. Supply lines are not typically included with any faucet because there are a number of variations in the size and length needed to fit the water lines under your faucet. The faucet does include two inlet adapters #970-074 that connect to ½” water supply lines with ½” fittings.
