Not sure why they made the cabinet so large. Product performs well.

I downloaded the instructions before the firepit arrived to familiarize myself. Glad I did. The diagram on screw pkg doesn't match the instruction sheet. All the holes matched up! You should assemble near patio because it's awkward to move...you'll need help.

This product shipped so fast. I was picking it up at the store 3 days after I placed the order. I love the fire pit. I’ve had it about one month and have used it several times. The fire pit was fairly easy to put together and the instructions were easy to understand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great looking table, well constructed. Easy assembly as instructions are clear and easy to follow. I am not mechanically inclined and had it assembled in two hours. Looks great on our deck and have spent hours enjoying the ambience provided by this product.

Nicely made. Flame very good. Easy to put together and everything but one or two screws fit.

Looks good and easy to use but instructions were bad and alignment for parts were off. I can't fully use the cover because of this. The product also came scratched but I kept it because I didn't want to deal with the exchange process.

Solid four stars. Well built. All the pieces matched well. The stainless fire pit was off just a tad to the frame, but I got the screws in and it's not going anywhere. Nice flame. Would be a bit better if it had a burner shaped like an H. Flame can be adjusted quite high, and I will experiment with moving the glass rocks around to create a different pattern. Overall I'm very pleased with the unit. Especially price to value. I really can't believe that a 1000 dollar unit would be 3x better, based on what I saw. This matches my desire for a piece to just sit around and enjoy the evening. I can't comment yet on heat. Just got it built and tried it out to make sure it worked. Which it did just fine. I liked how the company gave a parts list, as sooner than later it will need something.

This product is beautiful out of the box. It's a bit of a pain to put together but for the first week we were pleased. Then it rained. And the top got these milky white blotches all over it. I tried and tried to get the splotches off, to no avail. I called the manufacturer and they provided absolutely no help (even claimed they couldn't find a record of my order). We will have to repaint or tile the top in order to have it look decent. For the price, I expected much more. Buyer beware, this is not a quality product.

Looks great, works great and easy to assemble

This gas fire pit table is perfect for our use. We have it on a large deck facing the lake. It took my 15 year old son about 1+ hours to assemble. Directions were clear. All the parts were included. 2 of the 4 screws did not match up on the top tray that holds the amber stones. Not a big deal, as it is very secure with 2 screws. The flame is easy to adjust with the control inside the table. It is also convenient to use as a table when the cover on. We are very pleased with our gas fire pit table!

The fire table is built cheap for its cost. It was all scratched when we received it and the door does not attach properly. The propane is convenient and works well which is the only reason I rated it 2 stars instead of 1.

This was fairly easy to put together. It's not that heavy, just awkward. It took two of us to move it to the spot in the yard. It works great and puts out a lot of heat. Be careful of the rocks, though! They are quite sharp.

This Fire Pit was easy to assemble but very heavy. The product comes as advertised and works on the first try. I am very pleased with the product.

So far, so good. It took 2 people to put it together, enjoying it so far. I was bummed though when the price dropped by $60 about a week after I bought mine.

Great table-height fire pit. I followed the advice of another reviewer and assembled it close to where it would be sitting. It's very heavy. I didn't have any trouble putting it together. The only thing I goofed on was the way I put the strap through the plate that holds the propane tank. Probably user error though. Take your time and assemble in good lighting.

Easy to assemble was up and ready to enjoy in less than an hour.

Over all I really like this fire pit table. I like the fact that it is gas and you can "build" a fire in just minutes. Since it has the ability to turn on or turn off there is no need to put out the fire and let it cool down. There is also no "campfire" smell. I really like the smell of the fire while I am there- but am finding that I like the fact that when I go into my house I don't bring it inside with me. It took me a couple hours to put together ( I was doing it alone) and I wouldn't say that it was easy but it wasn't overly complicated either. There are a couple spots that I misaligned and now are slightly off set. Also, this is not meant to be out in the weather conditions. I have mine outside but it is covered with a spare grill cover I had. I would recommend this or having it in a 3 or 4 seasons room. I wish that there was an option to purchase a cover that was meant to protect this. I like the way it looks when it is burning and even when the fire pit is off the rocks look pretty. You are not able to cover up this little metal piece that sits in the rocks, which is okay. In my opinion it would look a little nicer if you were able to cover this up- but I don't think that this is something that is unique to this gas fire pit (I think it would be that way regardless), so I am not going to count that against it. I really like the way that the doors cover the propane tank so it is all enclosed. The handles on the outside (and the outside in general) is a little bit plain but the fire and rocks really make up for it! If you would like you are also able to buy more rocks for the fire as well. I am going to do this just because I feel like it should be a little more full than it is when you only use what it comes with.

This fire pit is beautiful! It is a high quality, very well made product and much bigger than I was anticipating! It would be perfect for the middle of a large sitting area on a deck or out in your lawn. The fully assembled item is 38"x38"x28.5" high. The rock/fire area is 19"x19" with a 9 1/2" boarder all around it (the rocks comes with it). It has two doors that open so that you can put your propane tank right in so it's perfectly hidden. It also has a frame on the inside bottom that the propane tank sits on so it is up off of the ground.It is easy to use, you simply press and turn the knob underneath to start the fire and then can adjust the flame higher or lower by turning the knob from left to right. It is a dark brown metal and the surface is very smooth. When the flame is set to the highest setting it gives off pretty good heat. It is really heavy, you need two strong people to move it, and once you find your spot for it I don't think you are going to want to keep moving it. Might have been nice to have lockable wheels on the bottom (like a grill) so that at least it could be moved easily if it was on a level surface. We are super excited to put this beautiful fire pit to use on a cool summer night when we are relaxing outside!

I have to say that this pit is much bigger than I thought it would be. I am not saying that in a bad way, just that the picture does not do it justice as it really does fill out the deck/patio nicely. It takes a 20lb LPG/propane tank, and will last a very long time with moderate use. The pit is very sturdy, and will definitely hold up to bad weather, or any other possible damage. The fire itself is hot, and actually can be felt across the 15 x15 deck. The gas is easy to hook up, turn on and adjust for a bigger to smaller flame. As for assembly, it took about 45 minutes, but the directions were easy to follow The kids love it as they roast marshmallows, and the adults love it because it keeps them busy. Besides, who wants to sit on a dark cold deck when you can have a soft warm glow of a fire and the beautiful glass rocks in front of you on a chilly summer night. We are very pleased with this fire pit!

From an aesthetic perception ... it is very plain looking. Quite "box-like". Comes shipped in a square, moderately flat box. Assembly IS required. The parts are well packaged, well labeled and even the little tools for assembly are included - though I use my own & it goes together a bit faster. The 20# propane tank is well hidden under the base of the table. The materials used to build the table are sturdy and well constructed so you do get what you pay for but be prepared to have a helper when you go to move the table - it's HEAVY! I love the fact that pit has a cover giving the table a multi-use function in my patio setting. The BTU output is ample for a warming fire and there is enough flame to give it a great visual appeal. From my perspective, they put more thought into heavier materials & less thought into the visual aspects of this fire pit.

The Pleasant Hearth Avalon propane gas powered fire pit uses a 20 lb. propane tank that tucks away underneath the unit behind hinged doors. This unit, according to the manufacturer, gives off 40,000 BTU's of heat. Easy to turn on with the piezo ignition then a slight adjustment with the variable flame control. Once you've set it you can just enjoy watching the glass rocks glow and reflect the fire light. When you’re finished with the fire the lid, included, converts the fire table into a side or occasional table. I like the way this product is made of sturdy steel and the stainless steel burner should last for a long time. I had no trouble at all following the manufacturers recommended instructions for assembly. I do recommend reading through them first to avoid any surprises. I have only had this product for a few weeks but there were just enough cool evenings for me to appreciate the warmth that it gives off. My family loves being able to sit outside under the stars and watch the flames flicker. Urban camping at its best. I would recommend this to a friend.

Very pleased. It is a little bit plain but overall nice quality, puts out a decent amount of heat but still okay for use in a covered patio. Look forward to lots of use this spring and summer!
