The Monterrey 23 in. X 23 in. White Square Planter works perfect for both inside my home and outside in my yard. Also great for a business planter both in and outside. No plastic so there is no breakdown of the planter over time especially from the outdoor sun. The planter color does not fade over time and is quite durable. I fill it with small rocks at the bottom and potting soil with a few medium sized rocks to help anchor the plant.

This is a beautiful, bright white planter which is made of a material that looks like stone. It will be used during the summer for growing cherry tomatoes, basil, parsley, thyme, and cilantro. The tomatoes and herbs should thrive in this planter as the manufacturer states that the pot's insulated core protects the plant roots from temperature fluctuations. Summers in Eastern Pennsylvania are hot and very humid with temperatures during the growing season in the the mid-80s and low-90s. Further, the pot has a large drainage hole which will keep the soil from becoming overwatered. I am especially impressed with the stylish design of the planter and also with the quality of the planter which is made in the USA of a material known as Poly-Stone. The planter was securely packed and arrived in perfect condition. The planter will be put on my back patio in full sun. I am looking forward to growing tomatoes and various herbs during the summer in this planter. I'm hoping that the planter is tall enough to prevent the squirrels, rabbits, and groundhogs, that live in the wooded area of my property, from jumping into the pot and eating the plants.

The tree should thrive in this planter as the manufacturer states that the pot's insulated core protects the plant roots from temperature fluctuations. Temperatures range from below zero to over a hundred degrees in the area of Pennsylvania where I live. I am especially impressed with the stylish design and color of the planter and also with the quality of the planter which is made in the USA of a material known as Poly-Stone. The planter was securely packed and arrived in perfect condition. The planter will be put in the backyard, in partial shade, where it is visible from my family room and kitchen. I am looking forward to watching the gorgeous dwarf Japanese maple tree grow in this stylish planter for many years.

My daughter and her family live with me as my caregiver. I have a very large lot and they have been doing a lot of landscaping including a large vegetable garden, fruit trees and shade trees with flower beds. They have been looking at large pots to put some dwarf citrus trees in since where we live gets cold so the trees need to be moved into shelter in the winter. These pots are large but, surprisingly very light weight. They are made of something called poly-stone and not concrete or plastic. It says they are impervious to freeze/thaw cycles, salt spray, or over irrigation. So they shouldn't rot or crack in our Arizona sun. They can be repainted. We are making frames with caster to set them on so they will be easy to move. Very nice planters!

They have put in fruit trees and wanted some large pots to put dwarf citrus and avocado trees in. Are winters get cold and these types of trees need to be moved into shelter. These pots a very large and will do the job. They are made of something called poly-stone and not plastic and look like some kind of concrete but it isn't. They should hold up well and not rot from our Arizona sun. What surprised me the most is they are very light weight. Says they will never have issues with freeze/thaw cycles, salt spray or over irrigation. So they shouldn't ever crack. They have built in drain holes. Going to build a frame with casters so we can move them easily.

If you are looking for a large well made light weight planter this might be the right one. I was surprised it was as large as it was and have not decided how to use it. It would be a good size if you were planting a dwarf citrus tree. The planter comes with a good size hole making it ready for use. I'm not sure of the white color and I'm thinking of using spray paint to change it.

This generous size planter is incredibly lightweight at 22 lbs, well insulated to protect plant roots from weather swings, and very suitable for almost any outside environment. The inside size is 18"x18" by 18" high giving 100 quarts of plant space. The outside walls are 2 1/2" thick. It is rated to withstand temperatures from -30 degrees F. to +150 degrees F. as well as being UV stable, weatherproof, and salt spray resistant. It's size allows plants to spread out without getting root bound. The polyurethane material called Polystone looks to me like stucco (or a rough stone), but is both very solid to the touch and quite attractive. I just can't get over how easy it is to move. It sits very firmly on the ground and just looks like it should be much heavier. I have placed it on our deck where weight is an issue. This is one of the nicest, most versatile, attractive planters I have seen.

Very impressive combination of large size, light weight, and very attractive appearance. This multilayered "Polystone" material looks like stucco, but is VERY durable, weatherproof, UV stable, and salt spray resistant. The outside dimensions are 23" x 23" by 19" high with the inside dimensions being a generous 18" x 18" by 18" high supplying 100 quarts of space. This supplies 2 1/2" of insulation, rather like a cooler, all around to periphery to protect your plant roots from weather changes. In Florida we do get swings from very hot to near freezing. Rating of the planter is from minus(-) 30F. to +150F. without damage. Weighing in at only 22 lbs it is suitable for balconies or decks where weight is an issue. There is a convenient drain hole in the bottom as well as a 1" indentation around the periphery at the very bottom which gives the appearance of being slightly off the ground and is a nice decorative touch.

This planter, in the bronze color, is quite attractive. It is substantial, well made and easy to pick up and move when empty. It has one large drainage hole. It was well packed with no damage to the shipping box or planter. It can be painted when needed way down the road. I understand that it is weather and temperature resistant over a wide range. Fulfillment was very fast. Great planter!
