Filled about 30 lbs of holes using this. With each hole using about 1.5 lbs. I can see larger spots being more difficult but definitely worth the cost for smallish spot repair

Product review
Nice product but it takes way too long to get shipped. Home depot should make 2 and 3 day shippingng available if the customer is willing to pay

Great coverage
This is a good product for pools, it drys quickly and sands well with 80 grit sandpaper. The directions said the consistency should be a paste but I recommend it be slightly thinner, it puts down easier and avoids cracks when it drys. All in all a good product.

The patch works as expected. It is a bit more course than I would have liked. It doesn't match the original grout in the pool as far as texture goes.

Just like a thin set mortar
This is just like a thin set mortar with a liquid additive. The $159.00 for 50lb cost is absolutely ridiculous. I repaired my pool and used this material next to a $20 for a 50lb bag polymer modified thin set mortar for tiles and got exactly the same result.

Perfect!
I purchased this product after a lot of research on the net. While some reviewers expressed frustration with applying it under water, I found applying it in a dry pool to repair blisters simple and effective. Once applied and dried I used a latex based pool paint to paint the entire pool. It looks fantastic and I saved thousands by not re-plastering the entire pool.

Includes Additive
The instructions indicate that you need to purchase an additive to mix with the plaster. There are bottles of the additive in the bucket so that reduces a little of the cost involved. The plaster starts setting up soon after mixing so if you have a large space to cover use several batches. You will need some method to weigh the material to control the mix. The plaster worked well, I used it for a fountain pond.

Worked GREAT
Pool people will tell you that "you can't patch a pool" " you need a professional " and "by the way it will
Cost you $8500 to replaster your pool as you can't really patch it but we give you a year warranty" DONT BELIEVE IT! This product is awesome. I was by myself and could only do a 1/2 of a 5 gallon bucket at a time and had to clean up each time as would dry on tools. Just mix, patch, smooth and you are done. It's a little hard to get edges smooth as it drys in sun. Best time to work on pool is early in the AM when pool out of direct sun. VERY HARD when drys. I was worried about not getting edges smooth but you can't even tell when fill with water. I don't know how long it will last at did it this early summer .My patch work was severe. I had 40+ areas about 1/2-1" deep and ranging in sizes from baseball to over basketball sizes. I needed just a little bit more to finish and bought a 10 lb patch kit of another brand from local store that was hard to work with and only gave a very short work time. That product not so good but this HD product was GREAT. Try it. People are amazed at how good my pool looks. PS I NEVER write reviews or do surveys but this product was so good I had to break my policy to tell people know how GREAT this product really is. I am just an average 64 yr old guy with no concrete training and just read directions and was fine.

Great product
The only thing I would do different is contact the company and ask questions. I bought way more product than I needed. I hate to have product sitting in my garage and will most likely never use all of it. Just hate to waste money.
