This concrete mix bags doesn't come all the same. Some bags have finer gravel some have bigger gravel. Good if you mix 3 or more bags together but when u only need one bag and that one bag you got is the one with more gravel in it then you have to add sand and cement to get better quality work. I am talking from years of experience. The product never changes it been like this for years. You can sometimes tell by touching the bag before you buy it.

I just did a job and it came out horrible, I just did a job and the amount of gravel in this mix makes it impossible to smooth out. I don't recommend it for newbies

I normally wouldn't rate basic necessity items like a bag of concrete but I honestly noticed an improvement in consistency over the years. They have perfected this stuff. One negative thing though, back in the day an 80 lb bag was easier to carry. I used to carry two at a time but now, one is a challenge ; )

Not the usual use of cement but it works. Just add water and mix, pour into your form, whatever that may be. It is heavy so get some help. This the first year but. Expect them to last a long time. The cement is working for what I want it for .

The Quikrete 80 lb. bag of concrete mix is the perfect size to hold my fence posts in place. They are easy to use, just pour the contents of the bag in the hole and add water. Keeps the job site clean no fuss, no mess. I recommend Quikrete to everone needing a Quik, clean and inexpensive concrete experience .

Consistent quality Part of the reason for the five stars in the easy ordering and delivery to my driveway. Ordered 105 80# bags which arrived on 3 pallets. Buying in bulk, each bag was $2.59 vs $3.70 each. With tax and delivery fee, total was $380. Use Quikrete's concrete estimator on their website. So I can mix and pour in small batches, I built permanent treated 2x4 forms to add 3 1/2" height to my on-grade concrete patio to prevent yard runoff and dirt from washing onto the patio. Sections are 16 square feet (8 bags) and 24 square feet (12 bags), and take me 2 hours and 2 1/2 hours, respectively, using a mixer, from first bag loading to mixer cleanup (includes screeding and first troweling). Very pleased with the uniformity, consistency, and workability of the mud and I expect the patio to last many years.

Great product but heavy for an older man. Hard to wrestle those 80# bags but small slab 12x12 came out fine.

Thirty five 80 pound bags of concrete and two days later and wahlah you too could have a nice paver walkway! The concrete mixed well in the heat, firmed up nicely and sure looks good accenting my house. Can't wait to get it stained to max my porch!

Used 27 bags to build a flagpole base for a commercial flag pole. Product was great.

I am a 65 year old woman. I have used this product several times in the past years. I recently poured a cobblestone walkway to my hottub by myself. I used the sand to fill in. Love this product
