This is completely a garbage. I put it in a 1" rod. The grip did not shrink much. After the plastic was pulled off, the inner-diameter of the grip became 1 1/8 inch, which is bigger than the rod. So, it didn't work! But the package says the grip fits 0.79" to 1.5". So disappointed. Will return this.

Some have complained that the grip of KABAR BK 9 is slippery. I placed the Regrip over the handle and it transformed the feel and utility of the handle. Took some effort to get the grip passed the turn at the end of the handle but it can be done. This involved cutting the Regrip before pulling the plastic. This grip can be used on any big handle fixed blade knife. It differs from the Stiletto version in that it is thicker.

Used it on an old hammer that belonged to my father, which has always been a favorite tool over the years, for both practical and sentimental reasons. Lately, the hammer had been hanging on the wall gathering dust, unused, as it was unsafe and uncomfortable to use Gave Re-Grip a shot, and it was easy to install. When I picked the hammer up, I was impressed- the grip was now secure and more comfortable than it had ever been. The old hammer was better than new, and I even had a little left over that I was able to apply to a small tactical flashlight. Re-Grip is a great product that does exactly what the name says: it gives new grip to tools and other items, and it makes them safer and more comfortable to use. I am extremely happy with Re-grip, and will be using it on some other items in the workshop and the house.

Did not shrink down onto the handle I needed it for which was around 3 inches in circumference or about 1.25" x .79" across (it's oval shaped). It didn't even come close to what the shrinkage says and what is stated on the side of the box. It says that it will shrink down from 1.5 down to .79 but that wasn't the case with my experience. The item I got might fit snug with a handle that was at minimum 1.5" in diameter but the box clearly states minimum is .79" and that is incorrect. Maybe I just got a bunk one who knows.

Grip did not shrink around the hammer handle at all after removing the plastic strip inside. Returned to HD.

My West Marine boat hook handle came off and fell in the water. Looking for solutions to this problem I came upon the product. I was a little hesitant at first but thought I’ll give it a shot. And I’m very happy! It works GREAT!

did not stay on the handle. By morning it was off, ended up returning the product.

The handles on my wheelbarrow had been used so much that they were very slick. These RE-GRIPS solved that problem I am 100% satisfied. The directions were easy to follow and installation was quick.

Works just great. Quantity product. Easy to use .Will last a long time. What more can I say.

These RE-GRIP 7 grips are absolutely great. I received them, immediately went to my garden cart and put them on and trimmed the excess portions off the ends. They work great. I will buy more of these same grips when I need to replace any other handle grips.

Worked well and simple to install. Be careful when you position the product. Its final length and position are dependent on the diameter of the tool handle you are covering.

Easy to install and does its job nicely. I now have cushioned handles on my wheelbarrow. However, these should be made available in two-packs because many applications require two. And they're just too pricey to justify installing anyplace i might like to have this kind of extra cushion and grip.

Took some strength to pull the tab, but then went on fairly easily. I would have rated it Excellent if the grip had been ribbed. Instead it is smooth so tool can still slip in your hands.

Very easy to put on some of my rakes and shovels as their wooden handles were worn and gave splinters. Now the handles are covered with padded grips.

These things are awesome! I have use them to regrip hammer handles, replace concrete rake rubber ends, and used the green one on my Ka-Bar Turok. Excellent design perfect grip.

I wanted a new comfortable grip that would be safe when working with electricity and got it with Regrip. The product and experience is truly great.

Best item ever designed for hand tools!...I had wood handled hatchet and blacksmith sledge hammer that always felt "loose" in my gloved hand, this item gives more than an incredible grip ...it frees me from having to "think" about the safety of the tool...now i can go about the heavier tasks and just concentrate on the "task" ....Easy to install and REALLY WORKS! Thanks to the designer of this item!

I needed a good grip on my hammer and got it with Regrip - really great for any long handle tool. Easier to apply than I could ever imagine. Love love love.
