Great Product, alleviated my fly problem. We live in close proximity to a small herd of cattle, so you can just imagine the flies around the house. Put one on each side of my Out building about 6 feet off the ground. Just changed solution, I calculated each mixing pouch lasts about two months, all you have to do is dump old away from house, totally non-toxic, contains dehydrated putrefied egg product and sugars, which has them flies lining up for a taste....... You will not be disappointed!!!

This is the grossest product I have ever seen in my life but It sure does work. I purchased this product about 2 weeks ago and has filled up quickly. This product is re usable but I may consider using the disposable type next time so I don't have to empty the container of dead flies. Very easy to use, just add water and included packet. The flies go in but cannot get out due to the specially designed cap. The flies are attracted to the solution and keeps them away from my porch area. Great product, My family can get back to enjoying our outdoor space. By the way it does not come with a hook to hang up. Cashier at home depot cut me some string so I could hang the jar up.

Followed the instructions. Set in my workshop area. Came back at the end of the day and found flys in it. So far it worked as expected. The only dislike is the odor that it put out to attract flys.

BEWARE*******I had about 20 flies in my breezeway so I purchased this product to help with outdoor parties. Within 48 hours my backyard was swarming with flies and the next morning my yard and breezeway was covered with larvae and flies. I ended up calling an exterminator and paying an expensive cost to rid my home of flies and maggots. I wish I could give no stars!!!!!

    Sooo many Flys!!!
I started a job at a cabin a just under three weeks ago and I knew the bugs would drive me crazy. Went to Depot to find some different options. I'm glad I went with this one and not the disposable bag. I hung it in the tree near my job site and the bugs have been flying in ever since. At times there are so many in there flying around still that new flys get scared away from the holes. To help battle this I hung one if those sticky tape traps. Between the two traps the bugs haven't come across my mind much at all. I'll be buying another trap and some refills next time I'm at the HD. So easy to use. Highly recommend.

The Fly trap is awesome! I purchased it around June 28. Put the pack in side fill to line with water and set it in my desired area, the flies went at it, view my pics. The trap is full, it stink a bit but that's what draws the flies. Highly Recommended!

        It catches flies
Yes it stinks. But what are flies attached to? Decaying organic matter. Don't place near anywhere you don't want to smell death. It works amazing! I am going to buy a couple more.

i live in l.a. and although we are not swarmed with flies, even one or two is annoying. we have an outdoor seating area and there were enough occasional flies that we looked into a way to demolish them. ; - ) tried this because it was refillable and thought as we go into summer and need something for many months, this could be good and a longer-lasting solution. so we just used it for 6 weeks, then opened it up to empty and clean it out and replace the attractant. i was sort of curious how may flies were in there though tbh i didn't really want to look. but i would rather know that this is working than not. the initial amount of liquid we put in, had evaporated quite a bit by the time it tells you to empty the jar and refill it. (it says to refill it every 4 weeks but hey i couldn't find my refill till now!) the picture with brown murky liquid shows the amount of liquid and flies on first opening. next few pics show a little more clearly how many flies. i would say maybe 100? over a 6 week period. that works out to about 2-3 flies going in per day. not a huge amount on a daily basis. but-- i'd rather have these hundred of so flies out of the air buzzing around me, then in the air...! so, certainly better to see this does something than nothing. i just refilled the jar / trap with attractant and water again... and i will continue to do so for the summer months. it's not too expensive, and if it catches another hundred flies / refilll it's worth it to me. one note -- this stinks like a dead animal. (why can't flies be attracted to a nice scent, like lavender-infused-begonias or apple pie and vanilla or something?!) for a while we thought something had died around our deck. only to realize a few days later it was this. we put it on the edge of the roof... with the theory that flies would go to that before swooping down further below to bother us!. well we moved it a little farther away, along the edge of the roof, so we didn't smell it so much! anyway- flies certainly go in to this. not a bad trap if you ask me. inexpensive price point, and re-fillable to be more useful and give you better bang for your buck! i bought a few and would buy them again. ; - )

This product works - but too well
I'm torn on how to rate this product. First of all. It works. I really attracts flies. But.... it attracts hundreds and as the trap fills up (within a week) if begins to smell really really bad (full of d e a d, d e c a y i n g flies) and attracts even more. No way in you are going to reuse this. I tried disposing of it in a plastic bag in my garbage can but my can was swarmed by flies. I ended up finding a plastic container with a lid and put the entire trap inside that and then threw it away. One reviewer on amazon said he buried the contents but trust me you don't want this any where near your yard. I made the mistake of putting up 3 and had to dispose of them all the same way. Now I need to figure out how to get rid of the hundreds of flies that are now hanging out in my yard.

            Doesn't work so well
I purchased this product last weekend for an outdoor party my parents were throwing and i wanted to put up a few fly traps so the fly problem doesn't get overwhelming. I purchased this one in a plastic container and another type in a plastic bag form so i can test both of them. This one failed pretty bad not many flies got in there at all, while the other one is almost full of disgusting flies. Oh another thing ... i would never reuse a fly trap so i wouldn't purchase this item again.

Works great. Some people are just stupid
These aren't meant to be set up close to where people gather. They are meant to lure and attract flies AWAY from those areas. Yes they stink like death. That's what flies are attracted to. They work great, just set them up AWAY from your house toward the edges of your property and for God sakes don't set them up indoors!

this trap is amazing - it literally filled with dead flies within days. That said, it smells really bad so I wouldn't advise using it anywhere that humans want to be.

These Rescue fly traps are the best I have ever used and that is no lie. Very easy to use, put in the bait, that is supplied and hang it up. Within a few hours I had it over half filled with blowflies.

This product is phenomenal. I advise mounting away from living areas as the attractant is repulsive, that's why it works so well. I haven't figured out a desirable refill procedure, other then to just replace the whole thing.
