Good gun.
Admittedly my first gun did not do well but Ridgid got me taken care of. It's lighter than the Milwaukee and shoots deeper and just as fast at a much more reasonable price point. My batteries also seam to last longer the they do in the Milwaukee or dewalt counterparts.

This thing is awesome! Its very powerful and sets nails great! I love the extended magazine and would absolutely recommend. It frees up valuable space in my truck because i dont need my air compressor and hoses and delivers excellent power and speed.

I found 2 problems !
Probably one of my favorite tools to pull out of the back of the truck! This thing is awesome its so efficient on the battery it’s crazy. Ok problem #1 this thing needs a longer mag from the factory. #2 this thing hates the cold…… seriously started just putting it on my passenger side floor board and blasting the heat on it. But still thats it I love this nailer it’s been a great addition to the arsenal!

Does the job(for a little while) but then it will not work and if it can’t be returned to store because it barely made it out of the return window then you better have made sure you registered it so you can get it repaired on a regular basis. Other than those issues it works great and sinks nails perfectly.

Nailer works very well. Super impressed with the quickness of multiple nails in a short time. One down side (not a big deal) it’s a little heavy. But I’ll deal with that not having butane cartridges or cords to deal with.

I’ve had multiple cordless framing nailers and this is by far the best one yet. I love the sealed air chamber system and that Ridgid realized it would need to be serviced because of temperature change causing pressure changes so the fill port to repressurize the chamber to the correct pressure was a major selling point for me. The other being the extended magazine. Loving this framer so far! Been using it to finish framing a room addition.

Didn't receive my second nail gun
I payed the taxes on 2 nail guns or 2 purchases. 89. Dollars even with my prox dollars. Shows on it way. And customers service lady won't help either.

I’m on my second nailer.
I bought the nailer as soon as it was available. Used for one complete project. It stopped working. Sent away for months was replaced with new nailer used for next project and it doesn’t work again. Tried calling customer support for several days no answer. The “text” online is useless AI. Now I see that the stores are dumping their inventory because EVERYONE knows their is a serious defect.

Very heavy. Very large.
If you’re a big guy with plenty of muscles, maybe you can handle this. But us skinny guys that are older. No way. Going back to my air powered one.

Works Great!
Works great! Long battery life even off of a 2 amp battery, but I'm mostly using 4 amp. It is pretty hefty, but worth the extra weight to not have to drag a compressor and hose around.

didnt know you had to add air to the tool, the ridgid website did not mention anything about that. I tried a tire inflator but that didn't work, so I called customer service to ask them how to fill the air tank, they told me you need a special tool for that. I was using 3'' nails and they would not set all the way into the wood.
