Hybrid GEN5X is top of line lighting! bought this unit yesterday for home use and DIY in the garage and its works great, with 1500 lumens it's bright and its adjustable from low to high brighting, You can detach the light from the base that is really convenient in some situations! I have been using the GEN5X 18-Volt Flood Light every night to go out and feed my horse. I have no lighting out at the corral or where I store my hay. It lights up the area brightly and does a better job then the bright lights in my ATV that I was using before I purchased the GEN5X 18-Volt Flood Light. Also most of the time i have been using this it has been anywhere between -20F to +10F degrees. I have been powering the light with a 4 Amp battery at about 15 minutes each night at these cold temps and get about 2 1/2 weeks of use before recharging the battery. I would say overall I am very pleased with the GEN5X 18-Volt Flood Light.

A great small portable light to take anywhere. This light provides a nice blast of LED sunshine when you need it and because it has such a small footprint you can place it just about anywhere you want. It was perfect when I installed a new faucet and I was adjusting the piping under the sink. I was able to place it in the corner of the cabinet and aim the light where I wanted. Much better than a traditional flashlight that will inevitably fall down and you lose your light. I like the dimming feature which allows you to get the brightness just get right considering where you are using it. It's rated at up to 1200 lumens and it's bright as heck if that is what you need. Battery usage was good. My 4.0 Ah battery ran it for hours with no significant drain even at full brightness. This light also connects to the Ridgid tripod which is a plus. This unit seems really solid and I found no quality issues on mine. It sure looks like it's made to last. I recommend this light.

Works well but I was surprised how quickly the battery died

Excellent light. Love the adjustable light output and can be removed from stand. Paired with my Ridgid battery fan, they are great for power outages.Ridgid quality never disappoints.

Easy to use, great versatility with the included base, the brightness dial works great if you need to tone it down a bit

This is my second Ridgid flood light. I have the bigger 3 panel light that I use for bigger projects like painting a room. This light is perfect for medium size projects like working on machines or equipment from the side. I like that it detaches from the base to get into smaller areas. The light head itself is about the size of my Octane 6ah. I would buy it again.

Recieved this from ridgid for a honest review. I've been a fan of ridgid tools fir a long time. They seem to keep getting better. I now have every light they make and use them consistently! This light is very bright and lightweight. Great for lighting up your work area! Highly recommend!

This is a great small spotlight to use in attic spaces or crawlspaces underneath a building. It also has 2 hooks so that you can attach to a 2 x 4 as well as a threaded hole for a tripod and a couple of slots for mounting on screw/nail heads. And finally, the battery consumption on this light is barely noticeable. I did receive this light for free for purpose of this review.

Handy light for any type of work or just extra light plus it works with same battery I have

This product was supplied to me by TTI. This light has three different levels that are really bright. I love the idea that you can attach it to other stands. Has two hangers that allow you to hang it on two by fours or anywhere. This is a must for anyone working on a job site. Also very useful for the everyday handyman.

This package, with battery and charger, was a bargain. The floodlight throws plenty of light for a working area. And a great feature is that it has a dimmer so you don't need to have blinding light if working close. The stand makes for a carry handle. There are 2 hooks that slide out so you can hang it where you need, and the light swivels in the stand so you can aim the light where needed. The two hooks are sized to be able to attach it to 2x lumber. A great feature for attics or when doing framing. The light itself is bulkier than I expected. When installed with a 2AH battery, the whole package, which is removable from the stand, is pretty large. Definitely won't go in your pocket. But this is a flood light not a flashlight. Overall, good product at a great price when packaged with the battery and charger. We can always use an extra battery and charger.
