Made my life a lot easier on my first tiling job as a DIYer. My shower walls and floor feel very even although the framing is a bit off. Some pieces did break a little too easily.

These worked very well .You need to remember to set each one just after you drop a tile in place .If you push the tile down it is very hard to set the pin of the levelmax. If you push the pin in after you pushed the tile down it will break the pin off .I did get good results from this and will use it again. .Make sure you buy enough pins. The spin caps can be used over again and you can take them off the rows that are already set after a few min so as you move along i reach out and un spin say two rows that i did before and use them on the rows i am doing . worked good . Excellent product to quickly level tile area. This product needs an additional item which is the screw top that pushes down onto the tile and makes them level. If you are a DYI type,and not a pro tiler, then this is for you to get you a very professional look.

I have used the other 2 styles of the level max and love them. The 4 corner stems I am not in love as much. Problem is when I do tile work I want the corners to be perfect so grout lines are consistent. With these you can not use you spacers to lock in the tiles at the corners. It takes more time to make sure your corners are square. It is more difficult to see the corners since the lippage tool gets in the way. The 2 other types of stems I found do not suffer this issue since the pattern does not matter. They work great for preventing lippage, but you need to be aware to maintain nice lines.

Veteran tile setter. This system worked great. Very easy to use, no special tools required. Less expensive than many other systems. Used on 12x24 rectified tile with 1/16inch grout lines in shower. Substrate was less than perfect so I used a 1/2 x 1/2 square notched trowel. Great results. No lippage

Slick way to get perfect results, not sure I needed the Cross Stem. I probably could have used only single spacer style.

They do work good at leveling the tile. The problem occurs when you break them off. Many didn’t break off cleanly or the tile chips. Then you have to go back with something and try to cut/grind the plastic down. Then you run the risk of chipping the tile more. We were laying porcelain tile.

The majority of the spacers did not break off cleanly. We then had to dig all of them down below the grout line. It leveled them good, but the rest was a nightmare.

Just finished a project tiling project using the Levelmax Lippage Reduction System. This is the best lippage prevention system I have used to date. Perfect corners every time. On prior projects I have used Tuscan SeamClips and also the QEP Lash tile leveling system. For you tiling newbies out there lippage is the result of tile edges not lining up on the same horizontal plane when they are embedded in the mortar base. It is a common problem with larger format tiles (LFT - those with at least one dimension of 16" or longer) because due to their longer dimensions they may not be completely flat. Lippage on a finished tile floor can cause a tripping or painful toe stubbing hazard. The Levelmax system enables the installer to align each tile's wearing surface edges to exactly same heights as you tile thus eliminating lippage on just about every kind of LFT out there. Levelmax offers the three basic stem configurations necessary for what ever pattern layout you choose as well as the re-usable disc shaped screw down tighteners in convenient bags of one hundred. I like the Levelmax system because it is just as quick to install as the the Lash system but it does not require a special tool to prevent sore fingers. While the individual stems are a little slower to install than the Tuscan clips the Levelmax pieces are much easier to use should you need to adjust or move one and they are less expensive. Another selling point is that they are readily available through Home Depot - many other anti-lippage systems can only be purchased at professional supply houses or from the manufacturer. I will use them again.

Easy to use, and snap right off. Built in spacer keeps all your tiles at the perfect spacing. They offer different systems for different tile designs so no matter what the project Ridgid has the proper stem for you.

We have tried a couple other levelling systems and didn't like them. This system works well and we've had perfectly level tiles each time we've used them.

I installed 12”x24” tiles and used the Ridgid LevelMax system. I was very impressed with the system. If you are looking to install large format tiles, I highly recommend this product. It saved me time and the install looked great!

The Lippage System Cross Stem arrived too late for the initial job I wanted to use them on, but I had a chance to try a few on a small repair job. They did a good job leveling the few tiles I was installing as a part of the repair. They were easy enough to use in that application. I think the repair was too few tiles to really test how well they work at leveling a larger installation. I have a bathroom job coming up where I will be laying about 45 sq ft of hexagonal tiles. That should give me a much better chance to work with the system and see how it works. I will expand this review at that time.

I’ve been a building and remodeling contractor for 48 years, and as such, I’ve laid a lot of tile over the years. Many times a product like LEVELMAX LIPPAGE REDUCTION SYSTEM CROSS STEM isn’t necessary, for example, if you’re laying tile over a concrete slab. One can often depend on the flatness of the substrate to achieve a flat tile surface. However much of the time tile levelers are a real aid to getting a flat surface. I’ve used others, but I must say, I’m impressed with these LEVELMAX LIPPAGE REDUCTION SYSTEM CROSS STEM. I used them on a recent large format tile shower. They’re easy to work with and do an excellent job. I think I’ll stick with them.

This unique system makes getting a smooth flat tile floor much easier than ever before. I had never seen this system before, but glad that I discovered it. In most floor tile applications the secret to a really flat floor is having a well prepared subsurface that is truly flat. Well that's almost impossible. But with smaller tiles it's not such a big deal, since the "wavyness" or slight changes in the floor are easily overcome because of the gaps between tiles and the grout which effectively smooths out the finished job. But with today's much larger tile sizes (I just installed 12"x24" tiles) it can be hard to get all of the tile edges to meet at the same level. With this system you just tighten up all the corners of the tile and they line up perfectly. One hint: I found you might need to add a little more thin set, especially in low areas so the tile has a good solid base.
