Very difficult to work with. The clear backing was extremely hard to separate from the rubber. I’d hoped that two strategic pieces placed on all four corners of the rug would be enough. It wasn’t. I used up half the roll on one rug before I turned my attention to a second one. Very disappointed in this product.

In the meantime, here are some key product usage points regarding the Rug Gripper Tape.Make sure the floor and rug backing surface is thoroughly clean and dry. Apply tape to fit the rug or mat (per packaging instructions) and install rug parallel to the direction that most foot traffic will flow.

Only good for one rug. I have two 4x6 and it wasn’t enough. For the one rug I was able to complete, the product works great !

We are big fans of Roberts Rug Traction Anti-Slip Tape. It proved itself when we first used it to secure a yoga mat on a smooth tile floor. Roberts tape works great resisting movement beneath exercise activity on the mat. The rubber tape is flexible and stays in place when rolling up and unrolling the mat. We continue to rely on this tape under area carpets on smooth floors. It's an excellent product.

Put it on the perimeter of the rug, outside the felt rug pad. Appears to be working.

In a 1/2 hours time I was unable to peel the clear strip off exposing the sticky side. So I returned it.

This tape is designed to create traction to help area rugs/mats from bunching up and moving, sliding around the surface. It is Not a permanent or semi-permanent tape to immobilize a rug. Make sure the floor and rug backing surface is thoroughly clean and dry. The sticky portion of the tape would not hold to the rug very well.

Impossible to separate the plastic backing to reveal the sticky side. Took about 10 minutes for each strip to beg the backing off. Very frustrating!

Put tape on each end as a test and the rug slides.

Easy to use, sticks well to back of my cotton rug on tile and there was enough for a large & small rug with some left over. So far they lay flat and no slip.

It does not stick to the rug. The rug still slides with this tape on it.

Great
Did not want a product to stick to the floor and this Roberts Traction tape was the trick. This relly helped my rug stay where I wanted it to.
