[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my old drill press went to tool heaven it was evident that I needed this to replace it. So far, I'm loving my Ryobi and he’s very happy with all of his green friends around to keep him company. Great tool, great value. I LOVE the laser!!!!

Bought this a few years back. Top drive pulley went bad. Could not get replacement pin to hold it in place. Very unhappy with this product. Come and get it!

The drill was a snap to assemble, I wish the table was a little larger. I think I will make a larger board and fasten it to the table. Also, keeping the table in the exact position requires a lot of force on the lever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m quite happy with my drill press so far. It’s very compact and the motor seems to be of good quality. I like how it’s super easy to change the speeds on the multi step pulley, easily accessed by opening the top of the press. My only recommendation for improvement on this press is a larger working platform, and perhaps a more robust hub for lowering the chuck. If you’re looking for an inexpensive, easy to use, long lasting press for your wood shop, or some light metal work, this is for you. If you’re going to be drilling hardened or thick steel all day, you may need a bigger press. Overall, I’m satisfied!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Drill press was easy to assembly. Used the depth guide to drill 3/4" holes 1 inch deep. Worked great...a high quality bench top drill press.

I tried 2 of them and suffer from severe run out. If your in a pinch it will do but don’t use it for precision drilling.

The quill was not parallel to the column so the bit was not moving straight up and down - about 1/16" over 8". AND, the table was not square to the column - off by 1/16+" over 4". None of the cast 'feet' was ground flat, one 'foot' was ~1/8" too long compared to the other three so the unit had a definite wobble that had to be shimmed to sit solid. Overall, really disappointing unit. I cannot recommend this machine. In fact, I definitely recommend you avoid this machine.

Works good. Would like a little slower slow speed but ok for what I will use it for. Makes good clean holes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the drill press for a few months, and it has worked well. No issues with accuracy or stability. It has been a great addition to our tool collection. We have used it for hardwoods and epoxy as well as acrylic and no issues so far!

Works excellent follow the whole setup, do what it says. It will be an asset to your shop, I love it.

I knocked it over transporting it from one location to another and banged it up . I liked some of the new features so decided to buy another one to replace it.

Other than wanting a little more power this press works great. Just to be fair I knew it only had a 1/4 hp motor so was not suprised

Press is great, the directions leave a lot to be desired.

Nicely packaged and easy assembly. Accurate laser right out of the box. Good quality for price range.

I purchased this drill press for a light duty project and after unpacking and assembling the drill press I tried it out. I don’t believe it will work for me, and I do have concerns that the pulleys are made of some sort of plastic. The drill press does have a nice work light and laser light which helps to indicate the center of the drill bit. These are two nice features. Even though it is an economy, priced drill press I don’t believe it would last well with even an average amount of use. I will be returning this drill press when I have a chance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lasers are really nice, the chuck blocks some of the beams, but they are visible where it matters. The light works well. Lots of power, good range of speeds. Platform height adjustment a weak point. Drill depth adjustment not great, but not terrible.
