Reciprocating Electric Saw
Got this to replace and old dead one of 5 years and it burned out on the first day
Home Depot of course replaced it so we will see how it does.

Good for light duty work
Great saw for small jobs, but not for heavy duty work. My guys used for a couple days for roughly 4-5hrs a day and it started smoking. Not a bad products just not for what we do.

Reciprocating Saw
I bought this unit to replace a battery powered saw that had stopped working. It feels solid and worked well when I used it to remove a door at the house.

Handiest RIP saw I've ever purchased
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last week and I'm using it around my house as I am replacing trim on the outside and remodeling inside my home. I've used it every day. It is compact but cuts great and it isn't so heavy that you get tired using it for extended periods of cutting.

Perfect for what I’m using it for. I can see how a cordless unit could be advantageous and more mobile for the professional but for this corded saw is perfect for this homeowner.

I’m having a hard time believing this was only 12...
I’m having a hard time believing this was only 12 amps. Felt darn near closer to 14. Also it was wise of Ryobi to call this a reciprocating saw because when I first pulled the trigger it ciprocated and sure enough it then ciprocated again.

Works great used it to remove an old garage door...
Works great used it to remove an old garage door and cut through the wood and metal without any problems. Wry easy to change the blades as well.

Great Tool

Removed a large limb from a road
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 8 months ago. Used it a few times. Then we were in TN visiting and a terrible wind storm came up. A short time later we found that a 14 foot limb had fallen partly blocking the road. In about 30 minutes it was in small pieces and we were able to drive by.
