Plugs did not work right out of box and had to return.

Extremely disappointed in both Home Depot and Ryobi with this purchase of less than 3 months. Got it all charged up and had a power outage last week for 7 hours; plugged into any of the 3 outlets and nothing. Total waste of money when I needed it. Called Home Depot to get an exchange and was told there aren't any in stock; can't guarantee the store will exchange. Called Ryobi CS and was told you can bring it to a service center or rapid repair. No exchange for defect unit it must be repaired.

I've had one of these over a year now and it's come in handy plenty of times. We have 4x6AH packs and with that it's kept our internet and refrigerator running for hours during power outages. We've also used it to make pancakes on an electric griddle at a cookout and as a replacement for needing really long extension cords when we need to run a shop vac or something where no outlets are remotely nearby. If you get one, do the math to figure out how many watt-hours of battery capacity you need.

We were excited about this purchase and began using it the same day. We alternated between using it on the sump pump and our refrigerator. The full batteries drained pretty quickly. It indicates that you can charge the batteries on the device. So we took it to a power source(my work that still had power). After an hour the batteries weren't being charged. We brought the portable charger and it charged fine. For the cost and the short time it works, it just doesn't seem worth it. We ended up investing in a gas powered generator of another brand instead.

Was not up to my expectations would not hold the charge for longer than 10 hours

Perfect for my CPAP for 2 days of camping. Recommend for quiet operation vs loud generators.

We bought this run our Cpap machines while camping. Works like a champ

I took it camping over the weekend and it was great, loved the battery life, it did a great job, supplying power and charging my other things.

Product work well as a power source. However, if the battery are left in the bays with the unit plugged up, there is something that seems to drain the batteries and the unit will not charge the batteries. Work better if batteries are charged with other charging devices and to keep the unit unplugged with the batteries in or out the bays. I returned the first unit. The replacement unit has the same problem. Error code fault on each battery bay when charging or batteries left in bays with unit while unit is plugged up.

It's a neat design. But the 4 6ah batteries don't last too long. Last about an hour with a 1500w heater. 2-3 hours with a smaller space heater. For this I'll prolly use it to power the internet router, and charge small devices. Keep the phones powered up. Or when we go camping to power a fan and lights through the night.

If you ran appliances in the RV the batteries barely lasted a day and trying to recharge one off of the other 3 was even more frustrating, it's not self sufficient

I bought this unit about 2 years ago and been using it ever since. You can't compare this to a Ecoflow or similar units but the price range is about the same or more depending on what size of batteries you are running with. This unit also lacking some of the features as those other brand. My original idea was if the batteries goes bad like in a Ecoflow you have to send in the unit or buy a completely new unit in doing so wasting hundred and thousand of dollars with this buy new batteries.

Poor due to ports 3&4 not working properly or batteries defective

I have two 40Vps, bought this because I have many 18v batteries and I like the 40v. Only problem is one of the USB ports doesn't work. Otherwise it's great.

Another failed Ryobi. Lost power last week and I was happy I had something like this for days like this. But hey guess what I was wrong. I plugged this in with all fullycharged 6amp batteries, connected a chest freezer 7 cubic feet and went to bed, woke up 6 hrs later and there was water pooling around the freezer, God knows when it died but the unit didn’t work as expected. I expected 4 batteries to last more. Immediately I changed the batteries and it started to work but not for long.
