This blower is very powerful, maybe more than I needed. I like that it comes with two batteries. For the money it’s a great buy, but if your just looking to blow out a garage or driveway, it’s more power than you’ll need.

Volume of air moved is only OK and battery seems to lose it's top end power rather quickly. converting to battery operation from gas power works but not optomally..

Quiet & Powerful, Superior Value
I was looking to purchase a new 40-Volt battery and 2-battery port rapid-charger, but when I stumbled across this deal, a leaf blower, single port rapid charger and two spare batteries with only a $1.00 difference in price, for my needs this was a "no brainer."

Blower didn’t work for more than 5 min
Blower right out of the box did not last more than 5 minutes with a full charge battery that was inside of it. Do not buy

Not made to last!
I'm a homeowner with long driveway in a wooded area. First two blowers lasted 2-3 months and died, returned it to HD and got a replacement. 3rd one lasted 4 months and died--took to nearest dealer repair center for warranty repair 45 miles away! They said the motor is very small and burns out quickly; he has 3 blowers exact model as mine all died awaiting parts. After 3 weeks and my follow up call, they said the parts are in but they had larger jobs to do and haven't got time to repair mine.

This Ryobi 40V leaf blower is convenient and powerful. It is more powerful than my older plug-in blower and each battery lasts plenty long enough to clear off my front yard.

Great Blower. Not so amazing customer service
The blower itself is a great product. It’s quiet and extremely powerful. What used to take me several hours now takes 30-45 minutes.
Unfortunately that’s where the good stops. Less than 5 months I started having issues with the blower so I made a claim, and sent in the blower. Ryobi claims 14 days and they will have you back working. It was determined I would need a replacement. I’m coming up on day 35 and my claim has no progress.

This 40V blower gets the job done quickly and quietly. It blows standing water from atop the hot tub easily, clears the deck and patio thoroughly, and blows excess grass cuttings and weeds almost effortlessly. After working the rest of the yard, this tops it off nicely. Switching 40V tools is easy, too. I’m very satisfied with this tool and happy I bought it.

Jury is out at the moment. Bought one 6/9/24 and returned and replaced with this purchase. Love the product and it’s got great power and lightweight for me to walk about but batteries burn down quickly.i returned the first because batteries were burning down in minutes when you use the boost. Could well have been the charger but was required to return the whole kitz

First, be sure to start with a fully charged battery. During clearing, use the lowest speed setting that will accomplish your task. Some jobs may only require the lightest setting, which saves battery power. And finally, you’ll get the best results if you clear in dry conditions. We hope this helps! String constantly breaks
The string refill doesn't come on cartridges so you have to manually wind it and it doesn't fit. It constantly breaks and goes back inside because you have to wind it too too tight to get it on. Not impressed with RYOBI landscaping products.

Perfect for me
This is well balanced and light weight enough for a 70 year old woman. I like the cruise control, I can set it at a consistent lower blow for the sidewalks yet use the trigger for more power when needed returning automatically to my set speed. I appreciated the 2 batteries because it guarantees I have power. The only shortcoming is that the batteries don't light up showing the amount of power. To know how much power you have on the battery you have to put it back on the charger.

The trimmer works perfectly for shaping shrubs. The battery life is great and charges very quickly. I’m very pleased with this purchase. I also used ship to door for the first time. Great experience. The terms were waiting for me and communication regarding the delivery was quick and easy.
