Not correct part for mower listed.

Didn’t realize it was used in place of the bag....
Didn’t realize it was used in place of the bag. Side being the direction of the discharge not where it is mounted.

Does not fit all 40v Ryobi lawn mowers.
Sadly, it did not fit my Ryobi 40V lawn mower - way too big!

It is a "side" discharge that mounts on the rear...
It is a "side" discharge that mounts on the rear and throws to the left, which is opposite of a regular mower. It is plastic, thick enough but still plastic. The biggest complaint is that it just basically hangs from the top and is not secure. I used a bungee cord but that should not be necessary with a factory made accessory (which it also should not be an accessory and should really have been included).

Helpful option
This should be included with the product when purchased. Also, it needs to be redesigned. It falls off too easily when going over rough ground. I have had to add a few screws to the side to keep it firmly attached to the mower. This means I have to remove the screws after each use, since I store it in an upright position.

DO NOT BUY! This does not fit the self propelled...
DO NOT BUY! This does not fit the self propelled mower sold in stores. I don’t know which model this was designed for, but it wasn’t the one sold in stores. The tiniest bump will make it fall off and engage the safety kill switch. Total waste of money.

Much better than using the bag, I can mow so...
Much better than using the bag, I can mow so much more on one battery charge. Grass always gets clogged in the exhaust but I don't think it's fault of this attachment.

EXCELLENT, and much better than the included SMALL grass catcher attachment or the "mulcher" (which only plugs things up)! This side discharge should have been included with the mower, not as an expensive additional
accessory!
