works great but I would like it to be a little faster cutting action

I bought this for my wife. She’s been having issues pruning the skinniest branches with expensive manual shears. This tool cut through 3/4 inch oak branches with the greatest of ease. I wish she had gotten it years ago!

These pruners make quick work of everything i've used it on so far and so easy to use. I highly recommend this for any of your trimming needs

** My first thought after using the pruner is to be extra careful that your fingers are NOT near the blades when pulling the trigger for cutting a branch. You will get seriously injured or loose a finger, please use caution and read the owners manual. Take your time and it will work as described. Overall the Ryobi Cordless pruner is light weight, I bought this for my mom, she was having trouble with hand strength using a regular hand clipper. I like the way the pruner cuts branches that are in the proper diameter for use. Note: that depending on the the type of wood even of the same size some wood is harder than others and the pruner will have trouble cutting through it and makes a clicking sound, I guess this is to let the user know that it can not cut this branch. he Ryobi 18v Cordless pruner met my expectations and the battery does last quite a while, even with a full day of moderate use.

Perfect size for what it can handle

The pruner is easy to use and helped clear some overgrowth quickly. Some of the larger branches (1" thick or more) required multiple cuts, but it still faster and smoother than manual pruners or a saw.
