It Comes on in power outages. It's very bright. I can unhook it, hang it up and light up 3 rooms. Love it.

I got this mainly for providing more light when working in my garage. It produces a nice, even, all-around light. I would describe it as clear "daylight" as opposed to a more yellow-ish light. I like that it produces an well dispersed light that doesn't blind you when you look directly at it. There are 3 light settings that you can cycle through. The 18-Volt battery is compatible with other Ryobi tools. The charger can be mounted to a wall which is nice for saving space. Also, you don't have to remove the battery to charge it, so you can use the light while it is charging. There is also a USB charging port on it. Its a great light and I'm very happy with it.

I absolutely love this little light from Ryobi. It puts out some serious light (as seen in attached pictures). This is the perfect light for when the power goes out at home. Probably be even better to take camping in the tent, RV or trailer in case you need some extra light. The great thing about this light is it puts out light in 360* vs a flashlight which just has a beam of light. Since I have a bunch of Ryobi tools with a bunch of Ryobi batteries this is the perfect light for me. I have a 6-pack of Ryobi batteries that are always charged that I take with me anytime I work on a project. Having all those batteries already fully charged along with this little light will give me several days worth of light if I only have to use them at night. This light definitely eliminates the tripping hazards wherever you place it. It's probably even bright enough to read by if you are sitting close to it and have it on its highest/brightest setting. This light comes with (3) brightness settings (with 400 lumens on its highest setting), over 48 hours of runtime (depending on which Ryobi battery you have in it), auto-on during a power outage when connected to the wall mount and plugged in to the wall, the wall mount keeps the battery fully charged at all times, has 360* of light output, integrated emergency flashing mode, built in 1 amp USB charging port & a folding handle for hanging it or for carrying around . Ryobi never ceases to surprise me with all the new Ryobi One+ ideas they come up with. It's fun to see them branching away from just saws and drills and to really come up with some innovative ideas that you don't know you need until you see them. I have always wondered how I was going to charge my phone the next time the power goes out and now I know ;o) With the 1 amp USB port and a stockpile of fully charged Ryobi batteries I will be good to go. There is one negative with this light though and that is trying to convince my wife that it really would look great mounted in the living room ;o) So far she isn't going for it.

I got this light to use as an emergency light during a power outage and because it works with any of the 18V Ryobi batteries. Its really a good little light to have around. It has a mounting bracket that mounts on the wall to store the light in and the mounting bracket keeps the battery charged and ready for use. The brightness is adjustable from a pleasant glow to a bright light, however I would not recommend it as a work light. It would be good for to light up small areas or for tight spots but it will not light up a large area. The light is an LED so the battery life is really good. A convenient folding carrying handle makes it easy to take with you and it would make a great camp light. I have quite a lot of ryobi 18V tools and this is a welcome addition to them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lamp is ideal for power outage situations, but I use it many other times. The brightness of a lamp ultimately determines its usefulness, and happily this one is the brightest LED area lamp I have owned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this light is always ready to go, and can be mounted on the Evercharge bracket in a convenient location to utilize the "auto-on" feature when the power goes out. What a great idea! We purchased this for our vacation home in the desert of Arizona where lightning storms frequently knock out power in the summer months. It's enough light to light up our great room and give us time to get to flashlights, etc.

This is a must have during rolling blackouts and hurricane season! And its so bright!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light is indispensable for us now. I bought two. I put one in the living area of the house and one in the bedroom area. The features are extremely helpful when we lose electricity. It comes on automatically when the electricity goes off for long enough to get to it and turn it on. It can charge my phone. It puts out enough light to work in the kitchen or to get dressed in the bathroom. Great, inventive product. I highly recommend it.

It makes the entry a lot safer, and we can grab it on the way by and use it in the house until electrons are flowing again. I also use it as a charging station which is rally handy. When I use up another battery, I plug it into the always plugged in lantern to charge.

She likes using it around her farm when feeding her animals etc...For her it's easy to keep charged on the wall instead of her having to remove the battery and charge on a regular charger.

Great tool in house. Lost power several time middle of night....this light is GREAT

Love these lights. I didn't mount them to the wall but just have them plugged in at strategic spots in our home where we would normally set up a battery powered lamp when the power goes out. I like that they turn off after the first 10 minutes on their own because if the power goes off during the day it doesn't run the battery down. We bought four lights and set three up in our home, I set the fourth light up in my mom's smaller home, so she had enough light to get around if the power goes out in the evening and so I have an extra battery for my tools if I need it while I am doing work on her home when I visit her. We were unpacking the lights when a neighbor stopped in for a cup of coffee and he was pretty interested in the lights and might go buy a few for his house after he saw how they worked.

I took 5 of these as gifts for the poor in Honduras where electricity is sporadic. They loved them and thought they would be very, very helpful, particularly where electric comes and goes during the week.

Ok for home not comercial needs.

Perfect for what I was looking for…great size and brightness

Didn't expect much from such a tiny light setup, but was really surprised at the light output of this thing. I bought one for me and one for mom just in case the power goes and we need something stronger than a small flashlight. The USB feature is ideal for charging up cell phones when your battery life is weak.
