Overall pretty good. Battery life from my 3.0ah batteries is adequate. Definitely easy to use when cutting plywood or subflooring. Love that it makes cutting straight lines easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted a track saw to break down sheets. This does what I need it to do! For quick cuts, I use the dust bag from my orbital sander so I don’t have to drag the shop vac out for one cut. When I first got it, I dialed it in, made sure base was square to the blade and it’s been perfect ever since. Comes with one clamp, but plenty of room to use a 6” clamp- doesn’t interfere.

Bought this as a backup to the Milwaukee version. It’s almost as good. Retrospectively if I had to buy just one I would just get this Ryobi version if half the price and I already had both sets of batteries.

I love all my Ryobi ONE+ tools. That being said, the saw is fine, not great for oak stair treads because the power is just not enough. The track is not fine at all. It is flimsy and not useable after 2 cuts. The set screws pushed ‘dimples’ through the track base and caused the saw to move while trying to make a cut.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw is perfect for cutting down my 1/4 inch plywood sheets. The only issue I had with it is the ergonomics of where the track hold down screws are located. Can be a little hard to reach.

Purchased last August, chose not to do a review right away because I wanted to give it a chance. After recent activity, not happy with the purchase and wish I would have spent a little more for Milwaukee or another brand. 1st - it only comes with one clamp and it really needs a second clamp to feel safe and sure that the track won't slip on longer cuts. 2nd - the track is difficult to keep straight and often shifts slightly if not tightened correctly, but a bump appears if you tighten too much.

I HAD TO RETURN IT. DID NOT WORK

This tool performs really well! My only issue is that alignment of the pieces of track can be a bit fussy.

Anybody who wrote a poor review regarding accuracy and the ease of sliding the saw along the track did not follow the instructions correctly! Pay attention to correctly using the alignment tabs and the riving knife. If you are using a foam board as a cutting base, as many contractors do, the riving knife will not work because it hangs lower than the blade and catches in the foam. Without the knife, the cutting is effortless.

I've had this track saw for about a year and a half and it works ok. For the price it's good, but overall it's not good enough. When cutting 2x material, it has really bad blade deflection and it gets hung up on the track. Another big problem is the wobble. Even with the track adjustment and anti-tip engaged, it does not cut straight and wiggles the whole way down the track. Then the plunge itself gets stuck on plastic depth stop pins. It's just not good enough.

I wanted a track saw but not spending $500 on one. Works great for everything i have used it for.

Do not buy this saw. The track is crap. Saw itself works fine but the rubber portion of the track is not straight and impossible to get a straight cut. I usually love ryobi, but I am thoroughly disappointed with this product. Buy once cry once and get the festool.

The drill makes very straight cuts. I was able to rip a 39 x 72 butcher block into 13 1/2 inch strips for some shelves I was making. The saw stopped a couple of times, but I think that was because I needed to support the butcher block better.

I am a beginner and wanted to use this as a replacement for a table saw. The saw wiggles side-to-side on the track despite the adjustment knob, making it incredibly hard to cut straight/plumb. Also, it was difficult to connect the two tracks and ensure that they were straight.

Man I love Ryobi and this track saw is good for the price I paid. However, it only comes with one clamp and finding a clamp compatible or another Ryobi track clamp has been hard. My cuts are off with only one clamp and the rubber shoes don’t hold the track in place all that well. Would give 4-5 stars if it came with 2 clamps

For the money, probably on of the best Ryobi One purchases. Powerful land accurate.

Works great. Setup was easy. Made my first cut on 3/4” plywood and it did great.

I must of been one of those unlucky customers that the track never cuts in a straight line. The rubber grips at the bottom to prevent it from sliding is all messed not lined up at all, like the person who assembled it was in a hurry and didn't do it properly. Plus HOW are you only providing one track clamp when u clearly need 2. And to find a spare/extra clamp is near impossible. I'm a hard-core fan of Ryobi but they dropped the ball on this one bad.👎

Been looking for a nice Track Saw and I finally found one.

Overall quality of this saw is very cheap and mostly plastic that being said the saw actually works very well also I bought some extra track and ended up returning is because it did not fit together properly and the saw would get stuck the only thing that really helped me in buying this saw was the two batteries and the discount I received when I opened up a credit card in my opinion the saw should be priced around $150 to 250 but considering the cost of other brands this is still a bargain.

Come with rubber cut edge missing off track! I called they have supposedly ordered me the replacement 30 days later still nothing. I waited on the phone again for over two hours again and was disconnected.

An "OK" Track Saw. I have a lot of Ryobi 18+ tool, and so naturally I gravitated to a saw that used the same batteries. It was a special buy and at that price I figured I had little to lose. It turns out that most other brands come with a one piece track. This came in two sections that screwed together. When I went to trim the track edge for my first use, it stuck at that joint. Additionally, the rubber glide surfaces in the track were not well affixed. I suspect I will have to re-glue them sometime in the future. The blade cover is plastic, and most other saws are metal. For getting a brushless, tool-only at a sale price, it's "OK" I'll only have an occasional use for it, but if I used it more frequently, I'd pay extra and look elsewhere.
