I was so super excited to get the surface cleaner that you would not believe all the trouble I went through to get it. I only had the battery powered portable power washer which was already junk I bought it 6 months ago with hopes then I would use it like crazy I used it twice and pulled out the old generic one and dragging around my yard with the long cord and it was the biggest hassle but not as big as a hassle as the cordless battery powered power washer by Ryobi. So I wanted the surface cleaner so bad and it would not work with the portable one. In they last month, I just became a single mom of 4 small children, bought a new home and totalled my cars leaving us with no transportation, so I obviously didn't have the funds to just go out and buy a new power washer so I sold my portable one and took a huge loss on it since I had only used it a few times, I used that money along with more money that I did not have to to spend to start with especially on something that was going to put me in a worse situation with HOA than I already was. So, I buy the new power washer plus the surface cleaner and I get home so excited ready to use it turn it on for the first 5 minutes it seemed like it was working great attached the surface cleaner, and power wash everything so I'm not new to this and I know what I'm doing, and immediately the power washer went out. So I pulled out the old junky one that I've been holding onto for years and was able to connect the surface cleaner to it and it actually had more PSI then the new one I just bought. It did work and it allowed me to use it on the other brand but it was horrible, by the time it was done it was so bad that my pastor coming over to send people from the church over to fix it or paint my driveway. I have too much pride to let them do that I told him I would figure it out on my own and I'm still trying to figure out a solution. I have always loved Ryobi and they used to be very good I don't know what has happened recently but I wish I would have listened to the reviews and just went with a different brand, I would not be in this situation now. I was trying to clean the driveway and the sidewalks to meet the HOA guidelines so I didn't get to find I got the fine anyways and I'm being fine daily now, and I took money that I didn't have to spend on this product to try to save me from this situation and it just made it 10 times worse. At this point I literally don't know what to do, because of a Ryobi product I can't feed my kids. I never thought I would say that. I think I am done completely with Ryobi after being a loyal 20-year Ryobi customer. When I was married my husband would bring me Craftsman tools home or snap On tools and I refuse to use them and wanted my cheap Ryobi tools I love them. I stayed loyal to Ryobi for years and when I needed Ryobi they failed me and they failed me and not just a way or I'm just disappointed and can go get another product, staying loyal to this product is probably going to cause me to be homeless and lose my children.

Worked great on washing my area rug to get rid of dog urine smell. Did not damage the rug. Good for light cleaning of driveway with only 1800 psi power washer. Was able to cover a lot of more area much faster. Good for weekend home use only.

This surface washer made cleaning my 4yr old dirty stone patio a breeze. I used it with my 3000 psi Sun Joe pressure washer and it easily removed the stains and dirt but left the resin grout alone. The brush that runs around the edge is nice - I think it helped the cleaning process.

This surface cleaner far exceeded my expectations. I haven’t pressure washed my driveway in 7 years and I was amazed at how clean it got. The amount of time saved by using this attachment is worth every penny. It has already paid for itself after the first use. So happy with this purchase.

Purchased last year but did not use until yesterday to clean my deck. It did an amazing job, worth the money. Can’t wait to use it on brick patio next. Regret not using it sooner. Only hope it continues to work as well as it did the first time.

My older trex deck was filthy. I wouldn’t get it clean. This thing made a huge difference. I’ll need to go over the deck once more because of how awful it was but it looks amazing compared to what it did.

It works great for about 10 seconds then after it stops spinning and doesn’t work. I tried to use it but I ended up just switching to my turbo nozzle. Using the RY141802 - 1800 PSI 1.2 GPM Electric Pressure Washer it should be ok since it doesn’t go over the recommended PSI.

My neighbor introduced me to this great attachment and I subsequently went and purchased my own. It makes cleaning your driveway or deck an absolute pleasure and cut my cleaning time by 50%. This attachment is easy to use as it connects to your high pressure cleaner with Ryobi's one-click system. It is also easy to clean. I highly recommend this product.

This is the second time using it. Once again it stops spinning. The nozzles are clean and the water sprays but does not spinning. When it does spin it is very slow. Full water pressure is on. The driveway was sprayed down prior to using the attachment. Spent two hours and only a quarter of the driveway is done. I wish there was as another option for the machine I purchased. Also Home Depot will not replace the part and was I was told to contact Ryobi. All my items have been registered.

Makes job very easy. Work great. Highly recommend.

This was the cheapest pressure washer surface cleaner I saw instore. It worked great! My sidewalk is sparkling white now and it was a dirty gray before I used it with my Ryobi electric pressure washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 5/22 and have now used it 3 times. Yesterday it started spraying water out of the hinge. Not only does this get me wet, but it took the pressure away and effectively made it useless.

Bought this Surface Cleaner after spending a couple of hours trying to clean 40 years of dirt,,grime and neglect off my driveway with only the wand and nozzles which it worked good but was very time consuming so I purchased the 12" Ryobi Surface Cleaner at Home Depot which made cleaning it SO much easier and faster and better I couldn't be happier I used my Bauer 2000 psi electric Pressure Washer to do this!

I cleaned out the heads and got it to work for another 45 minutes, then it would quit spinning. No amount of youtube videos and forums would help. I recommend taking the money you would use and go out and have a decent lunch, or spend 30 extra dollars and get a better one. This one is not worth the hassle.

I bought this at HD & it worked for about an hour, then it quit spinning. I went to youtube where there are literally hundreds of solutions to fixing this problem. They all kind of work, but not really. This unit is cheaply built and is not designed very well. Spend the extra money & get a quality product. If you are in the Ocala, FL area, you can have mine for FREE! Please pick up before Satrday Oct 21, 2023 since I will be taking it to the recycling station.

I pressure wash my driveway and sidewalks about once a year. Have used several different pressure washers, both gas and electric and as of right now I do prefer the electric if for no other reason I don’t wake up my neighbors when I do this early on a Saturday morning. Even with the concreate surface spray nossle it takes a while, is messy and often leaves streaks. Adding this unit to my current eletric power washer was easy as attaching any other head and was easy to operated. I did my driveway and sidewalks in less thhan half the time it normally takes, did a better job of cleaning and No streaks! Even the mess was much less, still need to wear old shoes to do this work.

Stopped working after one or two uses, now it won't spin. Don't waste your money on this, as it doesn't last long enough to be useful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked great the first time. 2 weeks later it’s not spinning and water is spraying out the top. Fished part of an o-ring out of one of the spin nozzles.

I purchased this at my local store to clean my concrete walkway. I noticed that sometimes it was leaving ring patterns on the concrete, as if the spray arms were not spinning at full speed. I turns out water was accumulating under the cleaner because there was no outlet for all that water to go and that bogged down the arms. I had to tilt the cleaner slightly to finish the rest of the walkway. I notched out areas around the skirt brush to allow water to egress during use. Works like a charm now!

It was working on the first use but failed on the 2nd. It left streaks of a circle on the driveway. I cleaned it as instructed in the manual, but still no better. Since it passed the 90-day warranty period, Ryobi doesn’t want to do anything to help. Such a waste of money. Poor quality product. I would not recommend it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this used it for half my driveway and broke mid way. But the clean it did was amazing bought another and the ama what to go through 2 done I order to finish the job.

Bought one that failed after one use. RYOBI sent a replacement, and 5 minutes into the first use it started spraying water out the top. Since it was a replacement, RYOBI wouldn’t replace it. I’ll be replacing this junk with another brand. Save yourself a bunch of headaches and buy a different brand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this surface cleaner this Spring to clean my pool deck and driveway. Initially it worked great and would clean the concrete surface with two passes and then another pass 90 degrees. It would sometimes fail to start rotating or rotate at a very slow rate giving a single line. To get a fully clean surface it started taking more passes and more stop and starts to get the wand rotating again. I almost finished the driveway and the steam started leaking inside by the hinge. If the rotation would stay consistent and the steam was made of a harder platic or even out of metal this would be an excellent surface cleaner. I cannot recommend it to someone that doesn't have the patience that I have to do the job correctly.

I bought one of these a few days and used it for a couple of hours yesterday. Thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I tried to use it today and I found the rotating head was working erratically, sticking. I took it apart, and I found a plastic washer at the top of the head. The washer was deformed. It apparently cannot tolerate the friction of the spinning head. I replaced it with stainless steel washer with an identical opening. It seems to be working like a charm. Be careful when you are reassembling the head to the unit. It needs to be pretty precise. It can’t have any play but it can’t be snug either.

It was advertised that this fit my pressure washer but doesn't. Even bought the attachment to extend the length but even that doesn't fit. Its almost like it needs an adapter. Yet another thing you have to buy from ryobi. Was unable to find an addapter. So doesn't come with other attachments, no spare parts.... this screams scam. Will be returning soon.

Bought one from the store to clean our concrete stamped patio. Cleaning was very easy and got the job done in no time.

I have a Sun Joe SPX3000 electric pressure washer. This surface cleaner works great and has saved me a ton of time vs doing it with just a regular nozzle. Lets see how long it lasts me, even if it only lasts a couple seasons, for the price it is still worth it.

5 minutes of use and it started getting the dreaded squiggly lines. There were no blockages in the pressure washer or the attachment. I’m using a green works 1700psi 1.2gpm electric pressure washer. I took apart the attachment and realized the lube that was used on the spinner arm was the issue. I removed it and applied bicycle chain lube and 2 hours later I finished my walkway and 3 car driveway. I’m still going to leave a 1 star review because I should not have to fix a brand new tool.
