So far so good, will update if I have problems

I'm having to try and figure out how to turn this water heater down! I'm wanting to foster, it's turned down to 120, and it's still scalding. Other than that, it's an awesome water heater!

This water heater is great. We previously had a 55 gallon with a steel tank and we were constantly running out of hot water with a family of 5. We went from the 55 gallon with 3800 watt elements to this 85 gallon with 4500 watt elements. We can run the dishwasher and laundry and all of us shower and we still don’t run out of hot water. We also had problems with the tank rusting on our old one and causing the lower elements to burn out and now we won’t have to worry about that with the non-metallic tank. Overall we are very impressed with this water heater.

Straight forward install. Shipped out and received on the date promised. Only reason for 4 out of 5 stars would be for price

The hot water heater is outstanding

This is a Big Boy but well worth it! Definitely enough hot water for my family of 4. We can all shower consecutively, have the dish washer and washing machine on and still enjoy hot water. If you have the space, go for it!

Easy to install . Combined with a diverter and have nearly unlimited 130 deg hot water.

This is a great alternative to installing a separate electrical line for another 50gal and it is a space saver.

Tank was very easy to install and since we have well water, the smell is gone

Such a beast! We are a family of 7 and we can all shower with a water heater like this. Only took about 3 hours for hot water after being filled which was way less than I thought!

We love our new water heater! It produces plenty of hot water for a 3 person household and the temp can be set lower since there is more hot water to be supplied. The tank is very light and was easy to install and wire.

Recieved delivery 3 days ahead of schedule. Simple dyi installation. Within 20min of powering the unit up, water was hot. Very pleased with Rheem they've manufactured a great product.

So far has been an excellent choice. So glad I went bigger than the standard household sizes.

Super light easy to install.

I like the design of the plastic tank. Bought new when I installed it the lower heating element was out. Rheems customer service sucks. I have installed multiple water heaters due to having rental properties and I will not be using Rheem products any longer.

So far, the Rheem is okay. The installer appreciated the light weight. We are having problems with setting the hot water temperature to 120 degrees as is recommended. The hot water is too hot, and we think it is not running energy efficiently. Can you advise of the exact setting for 120 degrees. We would like to be able to wash our hands without turning on the cold water to prevent burning. Perhaps the thermostat is defective.
