Once we finally got the correct product the assembly and connections where really easy. Provided you know how to setup correctly. It works just as it was advertised. Loving it so far.

Just what I needed and got it quick.

I love that I can control what my water temperature with my phone. The Econet recognizes when I am home and the water is ready to use, and when I am away, Econet recognizes that and turns down the temperature. Grandkids over? You can lower the hot water temperature with your phone making it much safer for them. Love it.

Professionally installed. Heater worked for 2 weeks then "cold water". Rheem's customer service is dreadful. Calls (4) took between 2-4 hours to complete. The heater needs a specific part that is being mailed to me . . . Then call a serviceman. The heater has been failing for a month. After being informed on how to restart the pilot light, I started it --only to have go back out after a few minutes. Expensive water heater with bugs. Very unhappy with Rheem.

So far, it seems to be doing what it’s supposed to do. Delta Mechanical did a great job installing the hot water heater.

I gave them 1 star for service, because don't know the machine performance yet fully. I call those people but no one picked up the phone and not to mention Home Depot, don't even bother to call them they have the worst customer service about Pro or any other departments. If you buy anything from Home depot you are on your own risk but people buy it any way they are the one always open. However I can tell what I experienced so far, product came with small small dents, as well as 40 Btu and our kitchen is right there but heating water takes a while, also not to mention there is a small american INDIAN drum beating noise through out the time water is heating up. Please pray for me this initial stage for getting through this people.

I bought 2. Good fit and finish. They never seem to be on but the water is always hot. I installed them two months ago. I like the electric start feature that precludes the need for a pilot light. They work perfectly. I recommend them.

Easy to install. Works great. Lots of hot water. Shout out to the Sarnia store - Our old water heater died on a Saturday and they did a great job getting the new one ready for pick up on the same day during the pandemic. We installed it Saturday night and it is running great! Thanks Sarnia Home Depot!

Waiting a month to get a hot water heater is just not right. I'm changing from OIL to Gas so my old heater is still is working OK. Most people need a new heater the same day. Make sure you have a firm delivery date before ordering. Trying to call the service number to find when you are going to get your product can take a hour of your time holding on the phone.

Great hot water heaters

easy install works amazing for family of 5

Easy to install. Heats water quickly and easily supports my family of 4 even when doing dishes, laundry and all showering. Energy efficiency is noticeable on utility bill.

Newly installed but can't achieve the temperature that I desire. The replacement sensor was sent to me by Rheem, but the repair has been farmed out to contractors that put this work way down at the bottom of their chore list. Asked Rheem to find a different contractor, but still not a peep from any installers. Evidently, Rheem has negotiated such low compensation for these jobs that contractors only do the work when there are no full-paying jobs on their books.

Excellent water heater, installation was easy. Seems to be very efficient.

The water heater is gas but you still need electrical power to operate the damper located at the top of the water heater. I just went through four days of no electricity during the Texas freeze. This was a replacement for our water heater which developed a small water leak during the freeze. The old water heater had no damper which means I had hot water during the freeze. I never lost gas pressure. According to Rheem, this water heater wont work unless the damper is operational so if I go through another deep freeze with no electricity I will also lose hot water. Not good. Lesson learned.

I bought this water tank, after only 3 months the Vapour Sensor went on it, they say it is covered under warranty but will take a week to get it. I called my local plumber instead and had it fixed right away, within an hour another error code this time the gas valve. This thing is like a 20 year old used car, keep putting money into it but keeps breaking. Stay far away from this product
