I purchase and installed last month. Working fine till now. During installation faced major issue of switches not working finally de assemble panel and adjust switch position.

The first unit was broken the second one seemed okay The rear supply valve is a design flaw. They should have used threaded connections and not push in pieces with o rings. The rings keep failing.

We are on our third water softener. The last two were Morton brand and we had nothing but problems. The Rheem unit is way more efficient and seems to be working great so far.

Installed and with one regeneration it broke

Chose this one mainly because of the Wi-Fi technology. It would be nice if it would show remaining gallons until next regen. Maybe one day they will update the firmware or app to give this information. So far I'm very happy with my purchase.

The water softener was easy to install and configure. I was hoping the smartphone app would have been more robust.

Do not have home depot ship to u. 2 times units destroyed. I drove an hour to find 1 in store

So far I have called customer service three times because of a leaking bypass valve. The parts needed still have not arrived and I have shut the water off and depressurize my house water whenever we leave and keep a bucket under the bypass valve when home. I hope it does not try to cycle while we are gone. I bought it and installed it on January 1st and so it has been three weeks. leaking.

I ordered this product because of the wifi capabilities. I received product that was broken. I exchanged the box I had received for the stores last box. The box was on the shelf and taped shut as of it there was nothing wrong. The box I had then brought home had a missing bag of hardware and a missing manual. I had to go back to the Home Depot into the box I had returned to get hardware and a manual for installation. During installation there were components missing. We wouldn’t have known the first time because we weren’t given a manual at first. I had to go back to the store for a third time to go back into the box I returned to get the rest of the missing parts. After insulation was complete by a company I hired… there was no way I was able to check to see if this was the correct model until I was ready to set up WiFi. I went to connect the Wifi. The water softener that I had exchanged was mislabeled in the box. It was not the WiFi model. So I was over charged and now was expected to pay for the product to be taken out for a return in order to get the product I originally paid for then required to pay for the correct product to be installed again. Home Depot should have taken care of this. I shouldn’t have to pay more than double for a mistake that the company made. Home Depot really disappointed today. Now I’m stuck with what I didn’t want and Home Depot refuses to fix the situation.

Installed just over a month ago. Easy installation and setup. WIFI connection works as intended.

This product should be recalled. Only works on occasion. Rheem says reinstall the app. Unreliable junk. Do not buy this

Overall, very simple installation if you’re half way good at doing things. I also installed a Rheem wifi tankless water heater way better than the original plumber installed the old one. Go to YouTube for help if you need it. Never fails you. WiFi was so easy to setup. I love the app that shows usage by the day. I think Rheem nailed it on this unit. Loving it. Save yourself a ton of money. Love it so much, I would work for Rheem if they would have me.

Product was easy to install and so far is doing an exceptional job. It replaced a water softener that we paid 3x as much for. Very happy with this purchase.

Ordered the unit online, When the unit arrived, the box had been badly beaten up an was held in place with about 20 kms of saran wrap! I almost sent it back because I felt that there likely would have been some damage to the tank and fittings. Thankfully the unit was undamaged. I installed it my self just over a month ago and its been great, no issues to report. Water is definitely soft! The Wi-Fi connectivity was a breeze thru the app. The iQua app I find is great, because it really makes you aware of your overall water consumption (historical and in real time), provides maintenance reminders and salt level. I also purchased and installed the remote water shut-off option, this provides real-time alarms if a water leak is detected and also allows to shut-in the water remotely if you are away. Overall, I am happy with the water softener's ease of installation and performance to-date. I find the iQua app very useful, helps keep on 'remote' eye on the system and alarms when attention is needed.

I bought the unit because it seemed to have a good amount of features. However, the tank is flimsy plastic the compartment inside to add cleaner is held in by one screw through the flimsy plastic and flops around when you add salt. this will undoubtedly crack the tank around the screw eventually. Also, the water line inlet fittings are placed so close together that you can't install any type of compression fitting like John Guest or Shark Bite because the fittings hit each other. This effectively forces you to use flexible compression lines or hard connections. I like clean plumbing, not something that looks like my 8-year old made.

Installation was easy and was guided step-by-step with tutorial videos provided by Rheem. Unit is working, to this point, flawlessly and it is really cool to be able to monitor through the app.

Excellent quality and price. Dedicated app and wireless connectivity allows to see water usage stats from anywhere. This softener also allows to detect water leak and cut off water supply. Installation was super easy and took me only about 2h (I'm not a plumber) I can definitely recommend this softener!!

It was okay - came cracked in some areas but it didn’t interfere with the operation so I didn’t go through the hassle of returning it. Seems to be working fine at this point.

First off, talk about an easy install. By my self took 20 minutes to install. Setting up the WiFi was easy everything about this unit was easy. We have a big family and this has kept up just fine. Only complaint I have is that it works too well. I followed the instructions for testing water and set according to factory recommendations and felt like the water was too soft so a 3 minute adjustment that was easy and got it dialed back. Even though it’s only been a month I would definitely recommend.

Product started leaking at bypass manifold as soon as it was installed. Plastic piece of junk.
