Takes a while to assemble. After putting it on your ceiling and turn it on you can really hear this thing spinning. Sounds like a scrapping noise. Absolutely would not recommend. Looks nice but can't have a conversation with it on.

Had a licensed electrician come to my home to assemble and hang the new fan. Once the fan was operating the motor was making a 'grinding' noise. Had to pay to have it taken down, taken apart and bring back to the store for a refund. So basically paid someone to put up a defective fan and take it back down again.

Noises fan, horrible
This fan is very pretty and I purchased it because of the style and look. I loved the light feature but the fan operation is horrible. After the fan runs for a half hour or more there is a loud noise from the motor. Very noise in my bedroom, this is so disappointing because I hired someone to install it now I have to hire someone again to remove it and reinstall another fan. Waste of my time and money. Noise noise noise, do not buy!

Beautiful. It is worth every penny! The blades are black with a touch of gold which is hard to see so it works well!! It light at the top and bottom. If you are in the fence but it now!!! I got it on sal but I would buy another at full price!!

The 1 W lights are very dull and not able to find any replacement lights (Warm white or daylight)...
The 1 W lights are very dull and not able to find any replacement lights (Warm white or daylight) for them. Home Depot asked to contact the manufacturer for better lights. I was able to replace the 2 6 W to daylight ones.
