The 1407 is specifically designed for use with engineered wood floor up to 5" wide and 1/2" thick. Always prepare the subfloor to be structurally sound, dry, flat (≤ 3/16" within 10') and free of excess moisture/alkali and all substances (oil, debris, dust, paint, oil based sealers, adhesive residue, etc.) that may inhibit the bond of the adhesive or the performance of the flooring after installation. Ensure 100% transfer of the adhesive occurs to the back of the wood planks. Observe the appropriate amount of open time prudent to the installation conditions and trowel size (minimum size trowel= 1/8"). Adhesive trowels ridges should be well defined, consistent and able achieve full coverage onto the back of the flooring and to the substrate. - always observe the appropriate amount of open time prudent to the installation conditions and trowel size. Do not allow the adhesive to skin over. If this occur, scrape off and re-apply. To ensure 100% transfer occurs to the back of the wood planks, lift a board occasionally to confirm.
