Royal Garbage. First use paint obviously cheap or metal is. 1/2 bag of charcoal. Unhappy Labor Day grilling.

The grill was easy to assemble, I did need a second person to do some parts of the grill, basically holding in place while I screwed in a screw. The instructions could have been better, I had to guess and luckily I’m good at assembling stuff!

Time consuming to put together about 2hrs.

I bought one & love it. We had a cookout & my youngest son did all the cooking on it & fell in love with it. So I ended up buying him one for Father's Day. He absolutely loves it. He's getting so much use out of it. I'd highly recommend it to others.

My son was the first to use it as he is the grill master! Now he wants one...

Really nice looking and functional grill! I put it together myself, and it was a snap, as long as I followed directions! Easy to use and great tasting food! Great buy for the price!!

Got this for my husband for Fathers Day and he LOVES it. Took him about a hour and a half to put it together. It’s perfect for our family of four! For the price you can’t beat it

Purchased in mid April, wasnt bad to put together, have used it a few times, and very happy so far with it. For the money. Im not sure you can go wrong.

My son and I put it together. It took a couple of tries to get everything correct. The instructions were not the best. I have put a lot things together so just took time. I would say about 3 hours start to finish. Make sure the grill box is up side down when starting with the legs. That was my fist mistake so legs were the wrong direction. Just a little bit to change that around after we looked at the bottle opener and found it would not be on the correct side. There is no handle to move the unit to different locations. I tried to left with right tray but the bolt pulled through the metal. I added a fender washer to the bolt under the tray and now can move it easier. After just 2 grillings the charcoal tray was warped. If you use good charcoal then it does a great job cooking the meat with a small amount of charcoal. The top rack was great for poppers and did not burn them but cooked evenly. The buns heated very nice on the top rack as well. Metal not has heavy as would like. I think I will be able to use it 2 or 3 years before replacing it. The grill plates are very nice as well. So might have given 5 stars if the instructions were better and if it had a handle to move with. I am please with it and much better than the small square grills that I have used in the past. The charcoal height adjustment is also a nice feature. If possible would give 4 1/2 stars great grill just a couple of things that could be improved. The handle added, and the charcoal tray to be made of heavier steel. Washers would add strength to bolts on the thin metal as well. Good grill

We have used this at least once a day since we got it over a week ago. Perfect for us with room for food for guests. I took off 1 star because the ack for buns etc doesn't fold up when you close the top and squishes your food. I had to remove it and will probably never put it back. Too bad, it was a great idea. If I am oing something wrong and the rack CAN be left on ,let me know and I will change to 5 stars

The Grill great but the assembly sucked

Overall the grill is very good. The mechanism for raising and lowering the coals works very well. The bottle opener is a huge plus for any person who enjoys drinking an adult beverage or two while grilling. I really like that you can open the front to add more charcoal and/or tend to the coals. I've always dreamed of being able to do that. My biggest concern with the grill is that the shelves are pretty flimsy. Since only one side of the grill has wheels, you need to lift the opposite side to move it around. The logical thing to grab onto to lift the side without the wheels is the shelf, but it bends up so badly I feel like I'm going to damage it. I'm a pretty crafty guy and I'll probably figure out a way to reinforce it, or add a new handle for moving it around, but most people aren't comfortable with doing that, nor would they expect to have to. Overall, a very good grill for the price.

I purchased this grill a few weeks back, it's very nice looking with a lot of grilling space, I think for the price I think it's pretty decent! I love having 2 side trays, but would have liked it more if they folded down for easier storage. I also like having a thermometer on the lid and charcoal lifting mechanism is very easy to move. I also want to mention that they have great customer service, as I did have one problem and that was that lid wasn't level/straight but when I called customer service they gave me no issue and sent another lid and now it's all together and ready to go! Beautiful

Assembly was a little time consuming. Having someone to hold parts together would be a plus. I did it by myself in 2 hours and I put things together all the time. Just a tip, tighten all bolts more than hand tighten but DO NOT over tighten or the metal will buckle. The feature of adjusting the level of the coals and how easy it is to remove the used coals is amazing. It grills the food perfect. Nice and even. Easy to clean up afterwards. The side vents and the vent on the chimney let’s you control the temperature to your desire. It is very well built and sturdy once it’s assembled. I have no complaints. Happy grilling!

Bought it two weeks ago and it hasn't cooled down... Pretty much every dinner since receiving the grill has been prepared on it, and with excellent results! The best part is the very easy 'temperature control' that allows for perfect 'doneness' of whatever you're grilling. I have noticed that some complains about the assembly of the grill. It was not super-easy but no worse than any other DIY pieces I've assembled. Took about 30 minutes and well worth it!

The grill arrived before estimated time and in a very well protected package that will avoid damage to the edges of the box and then to the grill itself. Manual and instructions guides is just fine to explain the assembly procedure. The reason why this product get only 4 stars is because by the end of the assembly when I was about to install the lid, I noticed that the lid didn’t come with the holes Pre- drill for the hinges, handle and thermostat on top. Nothing that a tape measure, marker and a drill can’t fix but something really irritating to a person that don’t have tools and is not willing to do some dyi in order to complete the assembly of the product. If you weight on a balance doing this or try to return this item to exchange for another one finished and ready to install, it probably save you headaches and waste time since this item wasn’t available in store. This is something that still unacceptable for some people since you’re expecting a finished and ready to install product. Maybe something that Royal Gourmet need to improve on the production line before they pack their products for distribution.

I bought on 8-1-20. Just took it to the curb today, 03-02-23. it was okay. I believe I paid $109 for it. In garage most of the time. Really went downhill in last few my months. Good starter,large cooking area, charcoal grill.

Best grill ive had yet. This is my second one. The first one i didnt cover up and rusted. So i purchased a new one. Good quality that lasted over 3 years.

Brought this grill a little over a year ago. We grill maybe 1-2 time a week in the summer, less in the winter. The charcoal "shelf" has already burned out and cannot get a replacement. Never had to replace a grill this fast.

Rack on top broke first use. Tray for coal is leaning. Hav not wven had 6 months! Husband said it was a pain to assemble. Took hours. Looks like good grill but is not

Part number 16, the charcoal pan brace was incomplete, unusable. You would think quality assurance would identify a key component that is incomplete before shipping it. Also, they do not sell parts for their grills, so if your grill breaks after the 1 year warranty is up, that's it. You will have to toss it.

The grill was easy to assemble and easy to clean.

Great grill for a great price. Takes about an hour to put together but very well worth it. They also give plenty of spare parts in case you drop something.

BBQ grill is great. Recommend Purchasing. Only issue is that shipping takes years to get to you! This was first online order from Homedepot and it seemed as Homedepot had no idea where my package was. Be sure to stay on top of your shipping just incase you are stuck on the same boat i was.
