This product is lightweight, easy to cut, and easy to paint and caulk. I used it in corners that were very irregular, lumpy and uneven due to a texturing process by the previous owner of the house. I easily trimmed the back corner edge with my Dremmel Multi Max so it would lay flat against the two adjoining walls, however a sharp knife would work as well, it would just take a bit longer as you would be shaving the product, kind of like carving very soft wood. The end result is a nice clean finished look without using a ton of caulk to fill in the gaps. I’ve also used it in corners that were relatively sharp without having to trim the back and those projects turned out great too. Wish all my projects were this easy and turned out this well!
