We apologize that the Corrugated Fine Rib Rubber Runner did not meet your expectations. If the product is installed indoors, it is best to use double-sided tape. However, if this product is installed outdoors on wood or concrete, it is best to secure it using a polyurethane-based glue.

Since this material is made of rubber, it does have a degree of rubber smell. The strength of the odor largely depends on how sensitive you are to smells. We recommend airing out the material in a well-ventilated location.

Corrugated Matting Rib Size
This corrugated rubber matting from Rubber-Cal has 9 ribs per inch, and the ribs are straight up equilateral pyramids, i.e. not pushed over at an unsymmetrical angle. This information was not given on the web site, so I am adding it here.
This rib spacing was important to me because I am using it as trunk liner in an antique car, which had the same matting originally. I wanted the new mat to be identical to the old.
