Plastic twisting mechanism broke after 3 uses. Expensive piece of junk !!! Do NOT buy.

I have to buy one a month I like it but it's a poor design..

I have such mixed reviews on this mop. It is my favorite and my least favorite all in one. The mop works so well on my vinyl flooring. The problem is in the handle. They break. I have bought 3 of these mops. I will hang it out to dry, and if the wind kicks up at all and it falls the handle breaks and it is no longer useable. I realize the wind is not their fault but the plastic part should be made with better plastic. It has broken in the same spot for all 3 mops.

This mop spins tight and easy to wring out. It's absorbent too. It's nice because it can be thrown into the washing machine to clean it. (See care instructions) I bought it because it was a great price. I bought a refill head at the same time. So far, so good.

The twisting mechanism for this mop is held together with a plastic clip which feels extremely flimsy. Every time you want to wring it out it feels like you might just snap it and break the thing.

Initially the mop seems like one I had purchased before which was of great quality. This one failed miserably as the plastic connector to the mob head broke after a couple months.

This mop comes with a replaceable head that is composed of quality, microfiber material. The attached mop handle has a heavy duty plastic handle with a built in ratcheting system for wringing the mop head. Once the head is rinsed just push the button and the head is ready to continue your job, The head material is good for easily reaching those hard to reach corners.

Rubbermaid’s Microfiber Twist Mop really picks up a lot of wet with a single pass! I like using this mop because it helps get the job done faster. The mop is ready to go when I reach for it and is easy to clean for storage by simply rinsing and twisting the mop head with the help of a built-in ratchet mechanism. The mop head then can come off and go into the washing machine for a “like new” clean.

If you are looking for a really great floor mop...this is it. My wife is the expert here but she says compared to a flimsy mop she had, this Rubbermaid mop is a winner. The mop head is microfiber and is very thick. The mop does a terrific job of cleaning because it is thick and has some weight to it. The only problem she had was that it was hard for her to wring it out using the wringing grip it has. She is 5 feet tall and not very strong. If she used her hands, it was easier. I must say, it really made our wood floors shine. The mop does take a while to dry. The head comes off so it can be washed. All said, she really likes it. Home Depot has another great item from Rubbermaid to help customers find the right product at the right price. Take a look at it.

I've been using this RUBBERMAID MICROFIBER TWIST MOP, IN GREY AND WHITE for years now and it does a great job. The twist squeeze makes washing the floors easy and quick. I find I can clean in the corners and under heat registers much easier with this Rubbermaid Twist Mop than any other type of mop, including sponge mops. These are also great for flood and/or leak cleanups because they hold a lot of water, without becoming too heavy.

Ratchet Twist Mop. Fiber mop head with a few scrubbing bands to help remove built up dirt. Unfortunately the threading on one band was coming loose even before I used the mop. After soaking in soap and water, the mop is quite heavy. The ratchet style twisting action holds the twist when ringing the water out of the mop head which is nice but still difficult to wring out all the water. Does clean the floor well. Would recommend this mop for large areas since the cleaning area of the mop is large. The mop is easy to hang up but would recommend putting something below the mop to catch the dripping water.

Just like they say, "A new broom sweeps clean" it can be said the same for a new mop. This twist mop is very nice. The material that the head is made of feels like super soft yarn, but the manufacturer says it is microfiber. I can tell you it is very absorbent and the only downfall I can mention about this mop is that it is very heavy when filled with water and it takes some strength to lift and twist it to dump the excess fluid. It works as well, if not better, than a regular yarn mop, plus it has a removable mop head that can be washed and re-attached. It is fairly easy to wring out, but like other wring mps, it can still take some hands-on help to get most of the excess water and soap out, as it drips continuously if you do not apply extra pressure. I do wish it had some textured, rubber grips on the handle to keep it safe and secure when using and when wringing out, but it is a great mop for the money.

For the price this is a decent mop. It may not the be absolute best you can find but it has a few redeeming features for the price point. The ease of removing the head to wash it is good as is the ease of using the ratcheting mechanism. It could be more absorbent and you may want to just go ahead and wash it before even starting to use it. I noticed you need to be a little careful removing and replacing the head. The threads composing the strands pull runners easily because the whole thing is made of a very soft material. If you plan to use it on a wood floor (as I do) this softness of material is a good thing.

This is a wonderful microfiber mop by rubbermaid. We have mop our floors a couple of times and we couldn`t ask for it to be any better it rings out easy not like some other mops where you have to struggle to ring them out. This mop is great for getting in tight spots even behind your commode.if you have tough spot on your floor it has a way for you to scrub your dirty spots up with no problem. You can take the mop off when needed to and wash it in your washer I haven`t done yet but I did try take it off the handed it is easy and put it back on is a snap to very easy to do. I don`t think you go wrong in getting this mop it is reaiiy a good mop.

The Rubbermaid Microfiber Twist Mop, Grey White is so easy to use! And, it really helps keep the floors clean. It arived in a box already assembled. I just had to remove the cardboard and the plastic. The mop head is made of Microfiber strings and it is very easy to wring it out. You just pull it up and click into place then twist! It also has a little scrubber on the bottom for those tough stains. To clean the mop head, you simply remove it from the stick and put in the washer. EASY!

This Mop for me is multi tasking. I used it to dry mop my Kitchen hardwood floor. I then went in and dry mopped my bathroom floor. It was a quick pick me up and I went outside and shook off the dust. I then went and wet mopped both rooms.The results was the floors both came out beautifully clean and with the drying time was faster then I had with my old mop.

Good for small jobs and single use applications easy to use and easy to change mop heads

Works fine until the mop head falls apart after a few months. First the scrub spot on the very top tore off (on both mop heads, I bought a spare) and the exposed plastic would scratch the floor. And now one of the mop heads plastic attachment came apart so you cannot connect it to the handle. Also holds too much water no matter how much you twist.

I have been using this mop for my hardwood floors for about a year. I’m pleased with it. I prefer it over the sponge mops. Worked great when I need to mop up the basement after some flooding too. Then I could wash it in the washer to remove the debris and go back to my regular floor use. I’ve had no issues with its design.

Hands down the BEST mop. Use this mop for a cleaning company and it’s just so helpful. It’s. Real mop too. None of that spinny gimmicky stuff

I like it! This is the second twist mop that I have purchased. I use it several times per week at home and office. It does a great job picking up dirt particles. It's sturdy enough to handle the jobs I use it for. I learned from my first mop that I have to be careful with the ringer and not be too rough on it. I wish the mop threads were a little longer but I understand that would mean sacrificing more handle space to accommodate the ringer mechanism. Easy to store. Overall a good product in my opinion.

Broke within 5 minutes the second time I tried to wring it out. In a world of poorly made products, this is seriously the worst product I've ever purchased in my life. I'd give it negative stars if I could.

I have been using the twist mop for my small cleaning business for 13 years, didn't care much for the blue heads until they were washed multiple times so they quit leaving blue fuzzies on the floor. Then, Holy crap came the white micro fiber heads. Loved them!!!!!!! I still have 9 but they are getting really wore out. YOU DONT HAVE THEM ANYMORE. I go and get the new handle and mop head. Mop head I like but the handle is CRAP! I bought 4 and in 1 month I have 1 left. The red parts break very easily. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to switch to Lieberman or O'Cedar. 13 years!!!! You let me down.

This is a piece of junk! It won’t stay together and the microfiber catches everything including what you do t want to pick up. I returned it! Definitely NOT the quality of the old Twister II. I’ll be finding some other product.

it's easy to wring out - does the job

BOUGHT A LIBMAN AND THEN i SAW THIS UNIT. WAS INCREDIBLY IMPRESSED WITH IT AT FIRST - returned the libman. After I had used it about five times, the thingy that holds the mop into place let loose. cannot make it go back into the unit so that I can use the wringer.

Easy to use and self-wringing. A good value.

It was btw me when arrived. Home depit is the worst

I was given this as a gift. Used it 4 times. It’s broken at the hollow base. Can’t be repaired.

It may be a good mop but I wanted one that was a smaller flat microfiber mop that you could take off and throw in the wash. I wanted it for washing walls and this is too long and heavy for that purpose
