The metal beam and sculpture in the front of the house were faded under sunlight exposure over 10 years. Red color i oil based paint gave new luster and made it look eye-catching.

This is a great durable paint. It has good coverage and can be a one coat job. It is easy to clean up if you follow the instructions and do as they request. It goes on smooth and self levels. I like the gloss on the steps I painted with it. It makes for an attractive covering and reflects the light so there are no mis-steps on the steps. It is a worthy investment in any color you need. Again I like the coverage and the ease of painting going on.

I bought this product to refinish a rusting natural gas meter. The paint goes on well and the result looked good even with only one coat.

After using this product for years, I can always depend on the quality of this product.

I watched a friend use this to paint the frame of a Jeep that he was restoring. Several months later, the finish still looks the same. You cannot beat this paint for the price and ease of use, plain and simple. I'm not advocating painting a car body with it, but it is perfect for a frame, or iron gate, patio furniture, or things of that nature.

I used both Blue and Red protective enamel paint over fresh new wood to paint the airplane swing I made for my three year old grandson when he visited us for a week from Colorado. Next summer we will drive up there and hang it in his backyard and has been designed, built and sealed then painted to withstand outdoor use, year round.

Easy to use, fast drying, great cover in damage areas

I purchased this paint at first, to use as an undercoat, for my bathroom vanity. I frequently distress items, and was using the black to go under another top coating of white, to then be sanded in areas to look like an aged piece of furniture. My vanity was in sad shape. Everything was disassembled, and laid out for the process. Two coast of each paint were going to be needed. However, after the first two coats of black on the vanity, I changed my mind about distressing the unit. It looked beautiful on it's own, in this rich looking black that made my vanity stand out, and really look like it was a brand new item in the room. It also looked VERY expensive - something that I was pleasantly surprised by! The paint was supposed to be flat, but it still had some sheen to it, and in this case I liked it, but I'm not sure how it would be if one was actually trying to achieve a flat finish. It may have been the material that was being painted, or not, I really am not sure - but I figured that I'd at least mention it. I ended up putting four light coats onto the vanity and finished with two coats of a clear varnish. Normally I would stop at two coats, (it did look fine at this point, however it being a frequently used piece, I wanted to make sure that it had maximum coverage to keep it looking new for as long as possible). **Wooden Furniture Appliques were also applied with wood glue and also painted, at the same time. These were then, detailed with a product called "Buff & Rub" (available at craft stores and online), in Silver to enhance the piece. I also used Rust-Oleum Brushed Silver spray paint on my handles, and they also came out looking fantastic! The finished product ended up costing me under $20.00! And, it looks like I spent a heck of a lot more!

No rust to stop! Wanted good outdoor paint.

This product was perfect for my Halloween project.

I've used the Rust-Oleum several times. I'm happy with the way the paint flows out, the brush strokes are pretty much gone. It holds up well over time.

This was a great paint for my mailbox post, but was shinier than I wanted it to be. Choices were satin, semi-gloss and gloss. I purchased the satin. If you don't want a shiny surface it's best to look for a matte black.

Goes on thick and smoothly and has a high gloss. Minimal touch up was required.
