GREAT PAINT!
This is only the second time I am using spray paint. I have this chair that I use for my sewing machine and it was looking kind of sad so I decided to try this paint on it. I put down my drop cloth, wiped down the chair (after removing the cushion) and proceeded to try to spruce it up! I read the directions on the can (which were very small, by the way!) and shook the can for 1 minute as directed. Then, I proceeded to spot spray each section (keeping about 6 inches away). The paint adhered very quickly and evenly and dried in no time! I am very please with how the chair turned out and would recommend this spray paint.

Great Spray Paint for Yard Art
I recently found a brand new, gun-metal grey lizard (still in its original package) at a thrift store and knew I could "take it up a notch" with some spray paint and added design. This Rust-Oleum Gloss Protective Enamel Spray Paint was the perfect choice. It is made specifically for metal and prevents rust which is important since this lizard will be hung outside. As you can tell from the picture below, it came out great! I did not have to remove any rust before paintingt because it was new, but I did sand it down a little to remove the shiny surface before sprayING it. I used 3 very light coats and the coverage was superb and it dried quickly! The Tuscan Sun color is bright and cheery and really shows up well. The paint finish is very durable too and I expect it will last years. The spray tip allows the paint to continue spraying even while holding the can sideways and/or upside down...nice feature. Now to find something else to spray and turn into yard art!

Great coverage
I used this Rust-Oleum protective enamel satin dark taupe spray paint to replace blistered and rusted legs on my patio deck chairs. I first wired brushed the effected areas, then I lightly sanded these areas. The spray paint went on well and fully covered all the affected areas on the chairs. I have used Rust-Oleum spray paint for years, it is my first choice for all my painting needs. I prefer the satin finish, because the low gloss helps to hide imperfections in item being painted. Paint dried quickly, will very little mess.

Perfect color, coverage, and protection!
A bottle of the 12 OZ. CLASSIC NAVY SATIN PROTECTIVE ENAMEL SPRAY PAINT (6-PACK) is exactly what I was looking for to help fix up some scratches, marks, and the like on some of out outdoor patio furniture. The color matches the bottle cap perfectly, and although it is a tad but glossy/shiny the color and shade of blue to navy is an exact match - the coverage sprays even for a guarantee rust preventative too!

After a tree fell and put a hole in my shed, this color was the perfect match to paint the roof patch and exposed adherent. The cap was not glossy so I didn't notice that it was a semi-gloss which left the patch glossier than the rest of the roof, but the area is just above eye level so it's not too noticeable. I did it a month ago and it's still looking great! I love that Rust-Oleum always sprays easily and evenly.

Used this for a tub repair to color an epoxy that was supposed to be cream colored but dried clear. The paint ultimately did not stick to the fiberglass but 2-3 spritzes on just the repaired spots stuck to the epoxy wonderfully, making the dark, ugly (now epoxy covered) dings virtually invisible! I honestly did not expect this to work, but since the epoxy didn't give any color coverage, I decided to give this a shot before spending money and time on whole bath kit. It's been 2 weeks on a tub bottom and is still looking new! Rust-Oleum never lets me down! I can only attach 1 pic, so its of the finished repair.

Excellent coverage!
We have kitchen drawer handles that were originally brushed nickel and I wanted to update my handles without breaking the bank. Unfortunately, my current drawer pulls were an unusual size. They were much larger than most of the drawer pulls that I was finding online or in the stores. When I coupled this with having THIRTY NINE pulls to replace, well it was becoming more like a massive expense, over a simple kitchen 'redo' quick update. Then I realized that painting them would actually be a great way to get the look I wanted without breaking my bank! Since I was also doing a fresh coat of crisp white paint on the cabinets, the shiny black painted pulls would be perfect! I just love how they turned out. The Rustoleum paint dried quickly and held on beautifully! It changed the look exactly like I had hoped!

Good for wooden rocking chair
The paint covered the old outdoor wooden rocker well. I only wished there had been enough in the can for two rockers

Decent paint for gates
Ran out of time to have my gates powder coated so I decided to use some rattle can paint. Found this paint in the color I wanted and decided to try it. The paint sprayed evenly and looked excellent when complete and dried quickly.

Paint like a professional! in a can.
This paint covered well! I painted my safety railing at the top of my loft leading to the stair well, and after a good buffing with a buffer/grinder pad the paint went on smooth, stuck great, and had a nice gloss hard finish.

Did the job
I bought this spray paint to use on a cold air return vent after I stripped it of the old paint colors from 60 yrs of use. I was trying to save myself $80 it would cost to just buy a new vent. This paint did an excellent job covering between the metal slats and on the front and back without running. It dried very quickly allowing me to apply several coats in one day. It ended up looking as good as a new one for $75 less. This is my favorite brand of spray paint.

Rust-Oleum - Still My Choice For More Than 50 Years
My project was the frame of a sliding window and the frame of its screen. The paint was easy to apply and continued to spray until the can's "last drop". The finish is smooth and hard, and well tolerates the daily opening and closing of the window.

Speeds up process of painting quarter round trim
I bought this spray paint to use on quarter round & concave trim (to cover the expansion area for the vinyl plank floor). I needed it to match the rest of the trim in the house (which I painted with BEHR Premium Plus1-gal. Ultra Pure White Semi-Gloss Zero VOC Interior Paint). It matched great and definitely makes the process of painting quarter round & concave trim faster.

Not quite navy
This paint had good coverage and is nice and glossy, however it isnt quite navy....its a brighter blue. Its somewhere between a Cobalt blue and navy. I painted a headboard outside in the yard, and I'm hoping when I take inside it will appear a little darker. I recommend the product itself, however, not the color if you want a true navy.

I've had good luck with these
I have never run into the issues listed below. I have had good luck buying the cheap spray paint. If you just need white there is no reason to get the more expensive spray cans. I sprayed wagon wheels that were rusted and thirty years old. If you follow the instructions and do the correct prep, light even coats and dry times you will be all set. I wish I took a different before picture so you could see the rusting but now the wheels look great!

Don't need to spring for expensive spray paint
If you need black, this will get you good results, no need to pay for the more expensive ones. Just follow the directions about prep, light even strokes and dry time and you won't have any issues. I sprayed over black metal that was 30 years old and spent a lot of time outside.

gloss sand spray paints are my favorite color, also match my house color.
in the past 3 yrs ago I use same color & same brand to use for my landscape decoration like plant containers, a huge fake rock, rain chain & others to match my house color. the quality paint is still excellent. already painted over new white gutters to match my house. looked very pretty to go with my house. my later project will use gloss sand to spray over old vinyl shutters that are brown color, also my garage door that is brown color.

Easy to Apply Finish
I wasn't sure exactly what to expect with this product. For craft products I normally use a craft glue type of finish that you brush on and for furniture or other projects involving wood and needing a harder finish I use polyurethane. This product feels like it could be used in both those applications. It's easy to spray on and dries quickly. Do pay attention to how far away you are holding it and make sure to keep moving. I got a few drip marks but I chalk that up to user error, not a product flaw. It had a smell so of course use it somewhere with good ventilation, but I found it less noxious that when I use brush on polyurethane. This is a satin finish so don't expect a super shiny finish. It's also doesn't seem quite as protective as a brush on polyurethane finish so I might not use it for something like a table top or anything else getting a ton of wear. But to add a bit of protection and a seal to a project I think it's a great option. I included pictures of two things I sprayed. One is a terra cotta pot that I painted and wanted some protection on. I rushed a bit and you can see the milky drips that resulted. But now that I have a better feel for how it sprays on I don't think it would happen again. I also have some birch logs that I use in decor and I sprayed one to see what it would do. It slightly darkened the wood and gave it a slightly glossier finish.

Color in an instant
Every year I find a new way to use these spray paints. Gives new life to any outdoor furniture - I have used it on everything from iron to plastic. Inexpensive way to spice up the garden, front porch, or garden hard scape. I love to change the color of plastic flower pots from year to year to coordinate with my color design for the new spring.

Easy Peazy
Found a used small wrought iron patio set for our Jersey beach house on Craig''s List but it had multiple rust spots. Price was right so I got it but it had to be rehabilitated (much like Rob Ford of Toronto) or the rusting would continue and drip on the new patio pavers. It turned into an easy fix as I unbolted legs, did some light wire brushing, and then applied several light coats and achieved total coverage. Set looks like it is brand new, so I am extending an invite to our Gov to visit next summer. Sure hope there aren't any traffic studies being conducted that might delay his visit. Get this spray and rejuvenate some weathered outdoor furniture. Who knows, it might be enough to entice the Big Guy to pop in for a visit and yell at the neighbors. Iggy Mo
