The steel wool Scouring pad is a combination of steel wool and the ever lasting soap which can be reused, no need of any external soap liquid again. It works good on stains inside the kitchen and out side the kitchen too. Can be used for cleaning vessels,utensils,baking pans and also the bath room doors, bath tub etc., I recommend this product as it can be used for both inside and outside of the kitchen with out any external soap liquids too.

If this doesn't take you back to the 1950's nothing will! And it cleans just as good now as it did then!!! We’ve used these scouring pads in the past, and they worked well then. They still work well in the kitchen, but we’ve always had an issue with them; they’re made of steel wool and get wet. What happens to wet steel wool? It begins to rust and having a rusty scouring pad lying on your sink isn’t very attractive. Now I have three different outdoor grills that are used year-round and they get messy. Baked on grease and bits of meat stuck to the grills is now a way of life. I decided to give these pads a try on my grills as I don’t care if they show a bit of rust, that just shows how important a griller I am... :) After my last meat grilling session, I intentionally left the grills messy with stuck on food and grease. After they cooled off, I sprayed with a little water from the hose and got to scrubbin’! I was amazed at how quickly the grease disappeared, the stuck-on meat took more effort but eventually vanished as well. I used two pads on each section of my grill but since there are 18 in each box, I’ll go through 1 box each week if I deep clean only on the weekends. Like stated earlier, these work well but can look pretty nasty in the kitchen, but for an outdoor grill they’re perfect! I took some before and after photos and videos of one of my grills, so you can see just how well they worked!

These SOS steel wool cleaning pads are my “go-to” cleaner for the tough cleaning jobs in the garage, outside, and in the kitchen. I have used these pads on the cookout grill (see picture), car tires and rims, and lawn furniture (see picture), in addition to the usual tasks of scouring pots and pans. The great thing about these new pads is that they now have anti-rust protection so they last longer. Another great thing about these pads is the large amount of soap and detergent infused into the steel wool mesh – certainly enough to last through several cleanings. As you can see from the pictures, they do a great job on baked-on food on the cookout grill as well as mold, mildew, and dirt on lawn furniture – my white plastic lawn chairs never looked better! I highly recommend these SOS steel wool cleaning pads!

I received the Steel Wool Soap Scouring Pads (18-Pack). I open the box up and got one of them out and went into our spare bathroom/wash room that has a stainless steel sink in it. The sink has been hard to clean and keep clean over the last couple years. I tried out one of the SOS pads with a little bit of water. To my surprise it cleaned the stainless steel sink up so good it looks brand new again. I can see many uses for these SOS pads around the house in kitchen. I am surprised I haven't tried these before.

An essential product great for cleaning my stove

I wanted some steel wool cleaning pads and discovered they aren't as ubiquitous as they used to be so I got it it at HD while shopping for something else (that wasn't available any longer, in store at least). They work as expected, the price wasn't a surprise. Just don't ask me about HD "free delivery" on the other item (hint: you get what you pay for).

Can get many uses out of it before it rusts, then can add dish soap for a few more uses.

Yes the brand did a expellant job cleaning. Its a old brand that always work. I do wish you sold Brillo again i like that brand as well.

They do a great job on old grill grates

Always used it after Brillo was not available anymore. Works well on older pots and pans.

Must have for everything grill cleaning

When you want to get down to the metal on a burned in frying pan, this is the way to go. Out performs the plastic scrubbers with ease and has a few uses outside of the kitchen.
