They don't turn on I should of left my old fixtures on instead

This light is amazing. The bulb we put in makes it so bright outside. And we love that it goes on even when a car goes down the road (we live on a side street). I will definately recommend this item!!

The lanterns are very nice but I don’t like the motion sensors on them and there is no way to turn that off. I even called the company and they said there is no off switch. The lights go really low at only about 30% until there is motion when it goes to full brightness. I would give Home Depot only 1 star because these lanterns went on sale 1 week after I bought 4 of them, with a significant savings, and Home Depot would not honor an adjustment because I ordered them on line.

The fixture was easy to install, I put it up by myself, and it looks nice with the clear type light bulb. The motion sensor is hard to regulate as it picks up anything moving across the street as well, even after adjusting the distance. All and all I liked the light and would recommend it.

They are quite attractive; however, the installation and operation are quite confusing. The directions provided are sparse and the Wi-Fi performance was intermittent.

Couldn't get it to work. As per instructions you need to be able to go into you wifi settings, assuming the modem is yours, and make some adjustments. If you have a borrowed mode. From the cable company then you WON'T be able to do squat and the light will just flicker. Good concept. Poor execution

Unit stopped functioning after 1 month of use. Light just flickers and unit does not show up on the app anymore. Went to the mfg website for warranty claim and it was just a blank page.

Works well and looks great. Don't like that you have to use an incandescent bulb (vs. LED)

I don't know what these people are talking about with the motion sensor not working well. I'm betting they didn't take the protective film off the sensor. With the sensitivity on 50% I still get alerts if an animal walks anywhere near it. WiFi set up took a bit but once set up, I connected to my Google hub and it works perfectly. also looks extremely nice, just make sure you get a good bulb. I do have an LED in it even though it's supposed to be incandescent, still seems to work fine.

Base is plastic with little room for the wires. Light won't stay on during the day to test. I've tried to get the motion sensor to trigger and it won't. Manual says it works on body heat, not motion!!!?

The motion sensor only activates the light when I wave my hand about 2-6 inches away from it. Any distance beyond that won't trigger the light at all. When I called customer service, the response I got was it's an issue with the LED light bulb.

2 out of 3 wouldn't motion detect at all. The one that does motion detect only detects out to ~8 feet, and takes ~2 seconds to turn on. On upside, their customer service was really responsive and quickly offered to send replacement units. I just returned to Home Depot. Also, they don't support LED bulbs.

I am dissapointed cannot make it for automatic turn on off with motion. No matter how many times we have tried setting it, it simply will not work. If you are looking for a great looking light this fits the bill but don't depend on the motion feature to work.
