Bought it to go with the sinkology farmhouse sink. Was too shallow and plumber had to go to store to get a different deeper one in order to fit properly.

Thought this was a higher end product, but just basic. The basket strainer doesn’t lock into place and just wobbles around when in open position to allow draining. It spins closed every two seconds so you constantly need to adjust it to keep the drain open. Went back to aftermarket strainer.

Did not fit the sink it was recommended for. Returning for a refund.

Honest one star for a basically 10$ cheap drain, packaged like an expensive one, that is conceptually defective and will expose you to the risk of flooding you kitchen. There are way superior options at half the price. I would have returned it if it wasn't the only option for the Sinkology fireclay sink. Why defective ? - Strainer basket does NOT stay in the open position creating both annoyance, and risk of flood. The reason is that it is using the old slot system, where you have to rotate the basket 90 degrees to stay open. However, tolerances are just too big, and it rotates all by itself back to closed position! I had to insert a plastic tube, on the basket leg to keep it always open. Basket diameter is also too small, always leaving a gap on one side. Why low quality? - This drain is using low quality metal parts instead of bronze. The stainless is thin cheap metal. Other cheaper drains use bronze and are built better. What to improve? Instead of a pathetic excuse from the customer service, I would like them to send me a drain that at least works, at least like any other 15-20$ drain out there.

Looks great and fit into our sink perfectly with our existing garbage disposal.

Strainer works fine. The problem is that it’s not pictured and sold with the sink. So the sink arrives without a drain!! How sensible is that? Not!! It held up my plumber for two weeks while I ordered the drain after the sink arrived... Canadian Home Depot website doesn’t show drain in picture either the sink, but the US Home Depot website does. Why is that??

The drain closes every time I empty water into the sink or have the faucet running. Very, very annoying. You have to be careful that the water does not directly go into the drain.

Installing plumber substituted a different strainer drain, noting that, in his experience the basket was not durable.

Love the Sinkology sink drain. It fits perfectly into a Kohler stainless sink in our laundry room. It has a very nicely radiused lip into it that is smooth as silk. The design and construction are excellent. It is light but structurally strong; much better than any cheaper drain. It is a great value too.

Excellent as new but I’d like to see reviews made after a year or two of use

I liked the quality of this part and the strainer fit in well and stopped the water flow very easily. It looks real nice also.
